RE: Carmolingo Family
Sissy is the daughter of Beatrice, my grandmother's older sister. Lynnie is Sissy's daughter. I remember riding the bus with my grandmom to see Aunt Sissy at the deli when I was small. I will have to find out the maiden name of Aunt Sissy so we can locate her parents, who are in the same cemetery.

Carmolingo Family
Hello Fred! I was wondering if you were related to the Carmolingos in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Mainly, Sissy, John, Lynnie and Johnny. They were relatives of mine on my maternal side. Beautiful pictures of all of them, mainly Aunt Sissy!

Wiilliam Doc Wiseman
Hi Fred

Just read the information you posted on Doc's page. I am the great granddaughter Ella Mae Caldwell and I was so surprised to read the words you put on the page. I was also told of Doc's head injury but I really was not aware of all the details you listed. I was told that his official cause of death was from bed sores. Do you know if this is true?

Thanks for the information.

RE: 16th Texas Cavalry
Fred, on closer inspection of his tombstone, it appears that your grandfather was actually in the 16th Texas Infantry, rather than the 16th Texas Cavalry. His service record indicates this as well. I would be happy to create another for the 16th Infantry and list him there, if that would be acceptable.

RE: 16th Texas Cavalry
Thank you, Fred. It has been my pleasure to add his name to the list of veterans of the 16th Texas.

I just noticed that a child, Sickel, is also in that cemetery. I have now requested that photo too.
