Most of my memorials are for former patients of the South Carolina State Hospital. I created these memorials based on data available on the Richland County Public Library's website as I do not want these people to be forgotten. Most are in unmarked graves. I am proud to report that at least three of these graves have been marked over 100 years later! Descendants found their Civil War veteran ancestors on Find A Grave and had the Veterans Administration provide grave markers.

I have too many memorials to maintain by myself, so edits and transfers are welcomed, even if you are not related to the deceased. I would like to retain the memorials for my own ancestors, but if you are more closely related, you may have them.

I release to the public domain all photos I have taken and posted to Find A Grave. This means that you may copy them and repost them as you please without crediting the photo to me (unless it will be on the cover of National Geographic!)
