Via the Find A Grave "Edit" page (have sent twice; wonder why you aren't getting it?)

Matthew P. Strand (Marlin's father) Find A Grave#: 102846554

RE: Marlin Strand

I emailed the VFW in Cloquet, MN, in hopes they might be able to tell me the specific unit he served in. From that I could deduce whether he was on Utah or Omaha Beach in Normandy. I'll let you know if I hear something. I sent in an edit to you concerning Marlin's parents, Hannah and Matt Strand. Thx.

RE: Alena Helmi Carlson Becklund Marsyla
I am so glad you had the headstone picture. All I have to go by is the list from the cemetery Superintendent. They had her filed under "Becklund". Again, thank you SO MUCH for your help on this undertaking. I am in the "M"s now for entering people from the Hillcrest West cemetery. Hopefully by spring I will be done! Ha ha!

RE: Thank you!
I sure appreciate all the help you have been giving me. Thank you! Yes...Chestnut St is the dividing point of the 2 cemeteries.

RE: Thank you again!
It took awhile for my computer to get them all loaded! I sent more yesterday afternoon. All of your requests should be done in Sunset! I did ALL of the surnames that I found that matched the ones you were looking for...just in case the future brings you needing those. I was in Minnesota for a funeral and we stopped on our way back to South Dakota because of the large number requested. One of the names you requested was under Thomas's listed in cemetery but I found a Thom that matched the dates. But I didn't file an edit on the name. I've been graving for many years and I love doing it! My 90 year old dad and his wife helped me find all of your requests!

Myrtle E. Olson
Do you know anything about Myrtle Olson. She was my father's sister. The oldest of the Loucks children.
My father was the last of the children to pass away.
I am looking for any possible living children, or grand children of hers. She was the daughter of Delbert James Loucks and Lillian Louise Brock. If you could help that would be appreciated.
Thank you
