The cemeteries are one of the best ways to gather information such as birth/death dates, marriage dates, spouse's name, family members, etc. This site has been a treasure box for us, we hope to give back a little information in return. |
Only a genealogist can appreciate the excitement of finding a picture of that ancestor or their marker.
Additional information & or corrections are welcome.
Duplications are not intentional.
Will be glad to transfer any memorial, unless it is one of our family.

Would you please add the headstone photos on this memorial to his wife that I have linked? I appreciate all that you do on Find A Grave.
|Samuel Lewis||Mary Ann Jeffery (1950-1976)|
According to Mrs. Jeffery's death certificate, her body was buried at St. Peter Cemetery in Ozan, Arkansas. Her birth certificate says she was born as Mary Ann Johnson "near Hope, Arkansas."
Her mother is listed on the death certificate as "Beatrice Hubbard" and father as William Johnson. I found that a William Johnson and "Yancy Hubbard" were married in Washington, Arkansas, which is between Hope and Ozan.
If you know anyone in that area who is familiar with any of these names, it would mean a lot to a 50 year woman in DeRidder, Louisiana, the daughter of Mary Ann Jeffery and Adolph Jeffery.
Can you confirm if she has a marker at St. Peter Cemetery in Ozan?

Dear Sirs: Do you have information on the parents of Olen Betts. I believe they were also buried in the Betts Family Cemetery in Hope. I would appreciate any information you may have.

This is why i also do what we do, the request of my family members that you have fufilled is breath taking, this surely brings my family and I closer to our ancestor... I can't really think you enough.
I hope other members get the same feeling you've given me when I fill a request. Amelia Carter is my great grandmother and with the headstone info I know when she passed..
THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU
David Anthony Taylor and my entire family

No, I don't have family in Elizabeth Cemetery, just took some photos when I was up that way one day. Got your correction entered for Aristeen Willis #151109129 and I wondered since you were there if you took a photo of her headstone? I didn't realize mine was a tiny bit fuzzy until I was at home and I haven't made it back up there to do a retake. If you did I'd be happy to remove my fuzzy pic in favor of a better one. I only uploaded it thinking a fuzzy pic was better than no pic on her memorial page.

Yes everyone that i post a request for is a family member, and i would love it if you could transfer them to me... i can't wait to get back out and take pics for other members but the weather here in Michigan have been kinda crazy, we are still getting snow in April. I also want to thank you for all you do, i hope others get the same joy as i do when i find their family or friends
