People have been submitted by spreadsheets over the years. Attempts have been made to eliminate living people and duplicates. If you believe a living person is included, you should submit proof to me via findagrave correction. Just because there is no date on a headstone does not mean someone is alive.

Google and other searches do not prove someone is alive, I can google many people in my tree that google would show to be well over 100 years old that I know in fact are dead.

Yes, I know there is an edit button no kidding. I will get to it as I can. Fortunately, I do not live on this site.

While I have thousands of memorials at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester. They are all added based on the actual records in the office. In many cases these records only listed people as Mr. Ms, Miss. exc... I choose to leave these records as they are unless someone has added a headstone and the dates match the cemetery index I have in my posession.

Unfortunately I used to change them as unknown but I have learned over time people assume they are there family when in fact they are not and the dates do not match at all per the records of the cemetery.

Because of this reason it takes me some time to vent the record changes at this particular cemetery because I look each and every record up as time allows to ensure the accuracy.

Abijah and Clarissa Hubbell
Daryl, Some time ago you posted a lovely grave stone photo for Abijah Hubbell 37204631. His wife Clarissa (Fitch) Hubbell 50584970 is buried next to him and they share this same grave stone. Could you please post Abijah's photo on Clarissa's memorial?

You didn't make either memorial (and neither did I) so I can't use the edit feature. Thanks much for helping. Dorothy

William and Elizabeth Fox
Hello - my name is Kim Marie Foxx,

I just discovered that my great great grandfather is William Fox buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Interlaken NY, his son was Joseph Fox my great grandfather father to Lawrence Victor Foxx, my grandfather.
My grandfather changed the family name from Fox to Foxx sometime in the 1940's.
If anyone has any information or pictures about our family, my father and I would like to know.
Thank you very much

Searching Mt Hope records this infant is buried in S 1/2 Lot 37, Section I. Being an early burial and being an infant, I doubt there is a headstone.

I found her listed in Mt Hope Cemetery's interment log as being 79 years 11 months and 20 days when she died in 1877. Listed as being buried in E 1/2 lot 25 section B. I didn't find her burial on the plot map.

Rochester Orphan Asylum
Good evening. I am currently updating any memorials for the Orphan Asylum burials (Sect O). My info comes from burial records....five rows of graves. Thank you for your hard work on these. Will use the edit button. Also have requested photos of any orphan tombstones that might be available. There are over 300 volunteers in the area, so hoping some will help. Merry Christmas.

Susan Barnaby
Hello I found you listed a Susan Barnaby and I was wondering if you had more information on the grave. The woman I am looking for was born Susan S. Elliot (Elliott) 29 Mar 1795 in Franklin, NY. She married James Barnaby on 9 Nov 1815 in Franklin, NY. I do not have her death but was wondering if this is the person I am looking for. Any help would be great as I can not find her death.
Thank you for any help you can give.
