I have posted about 40 cemeteries but since findagrave is now owned by ancestry I do not plan to add any more cemeteries to this website.

Any information found online should be verified. People DO post wrong information sometimes.

I am not related to most entries I have made.

RE: P.P. Anderson
Hello - I can't figure how to transfer it to me. I see the following so need your help please.....
How do I transfer a memorial that I manage to another contributor or to Find A Grave to manage and update?
You must be logged in, and you must manage the memorial you are going to transfer. You will also need the other contributor's Contributor ID #. They should have provided that number when they asked for the transfer (it is next to their name on their contributor page). If you are transferring the memorial to Find A Grave to manage, the contributor ID # is 8. (If you would like to transfer all of the memorials you have added to a particular cemetery to Find A Grave to manage, please send us an email with your contributor ID # and a link to the cemetery involved, and we can transfer your memorials to Find A Grave for you all at once.)
After you log in, go to the memorial page you are going to transfer. There will be a link on the right side of the memorial page, under the person's name, that says Transfer Management. Click on the link. Add the other contributor's ID # in the box on the Transfer Management of Memorial page that comes up, and click on the transfer this memorial button. NOTE: Once you have transferred the memorial, you will no longer be able to edit or update it. [Top]

RE: buy out
Thank you so much for transferring my grandaunt and uncle MILLER to me. Yes, I know you have done lots of work and I think just like you that the Ancestry.com buy out was just horrible. I don't know where I have been but just found out about the Sept 2013 buy out several weeks ago and wrote findagrave.com immediately about my feelings of dismay with NO RESPONSE. I have spent 3 full weeks deleting all the info I added to my memorials via death certificate, marriage licenses and obits [that was lots] I too have spent lots of money buying those certificates and was not about to let Ancestry have any of that. I am only keeping the basic information, full names, dates and place and connecting to family. I have always hated Ancestry's monopoly and their horrid fees, yet stealing info from free sites! I could go on and on but you have the same feelings I guess. I was and still am sick about findagrave selling out. Their site was the best and I do know it costs lots to keep such a big site running but there had to be another way besides selling out to Ancestry.

Thanks again for the transfers,
Dianne

RE: Coppernoll/Coppernell
I'm sorry you thought my message was rude. I certainly didn't mean it that way, but I'll keep your suggestion in mind.

I realize the misspelling was the cause and didn't notice the memorials were dupes at first.

I do thank you for your work.

Hello, I am Kelly John Ammerman," GG Grandson of James W.", Looking forward to sharing info on him an his relatives. I have info on 9 of his 10 children, and much of his descendents. I'm still trying to figure an easy way to distribute my info to those interested using Fam Tree Maker without paying subscription .
James W (? Winters ?) was born in Washington Twp, Decatur Co, IN 31 May 1849 and died at his son Arthur's farm in Grass Lake Twp, Kanabec Co, MN at 6:00 pm, on 28 July 1933 of a stroke. His father Joshua was born in Pendleton Co, KY on 01 July 1823/ died in Washington Twp, Decatur Co IN on May 1850 and Mother was born 1822 in KY / died 01 Nov 1850 Wash' Twp, Decatur Co, IN. I believe he was living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and was touring to visit his adult children in MN.

Kimball Cemetery correction
Just wanted to let you know about a correction for a few people in the Kimball Cemetery. Dora, Edna, Elsie, Minnie and Walter Hoffman are the children of Edward Gotlieb Hoffman and his wife Bertha Wilhelmine Arndt. They were siblings to my mother. Ed and Bertha are buried toward the north central part of this same cemetery. The children were buried in the Carl Arndt plot, Carl being Bertha's father.

Thanks,
Dave

RE: Unknown Egge Stone
No luck as of yet, I found Christian but this Egge is the only Egge in Bryant, Hamlin, South Dakota, only 32 burials in the Old Garfield Cemetery. I hope to return to researching him but have other problems currently, Not sure if the Petra Henderson I had you transfer is the one from South Dakota?
