|Shaj||Larry Fine Bio|
Nice work on the Larry Fine bio. Just a correction to an otherwise very nice bio you left. My comments are in reference to this citation from the bio you wrote:
"He went into vaudeville, playing violin, dancing and doing Jewish dialect. He met Moe Howard in 1925 and joined the Three Stooges with Moe's brother Shemp. When Shemp left and Moe's younger brother Jerome joined the act as Curly in 1934, the Three Stooges began making two-reel shorts for 24 years."
There are 2 corrections to be made.
Correction #1: Larry joined the Stooges in 1928 and Moe did not rejoin the Stooges until 1929 (Moe took a hiatus from late 1926 to early 1929). Therefore, Larry joined the stooges in 1928 and first worked with Moe in 1929.
Correction #2: Curly (then spelled "Curley") joined the stooges in 1933, not 1934. Their first Columbia pictures short was in 1934, which may be the source of the confusion.

Hello... Check over the bio of President Buchanan on find-a-grave. I believe you have the "former" and "latter" reversed.

Mr. Butters, Thank you for the bio for Mr. Segar. I live in his hometown of Chester, IL. Several of his cartoon characters were based on local residents. Popeye, Olive Oyl and Wimpy for certain. All three are buried here. Here is a link to Frank Fiegel (Popeye) http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=fiegel&GSfn=frank&GSbyrel=in&GSdyrel=in&GSob=n&GRid=31875462&df=all&
Each year there is a new statue erected in town to honor another character. here is a link; http://www.chesterill.com/index.php?id=71

Hi! Thank you for your wonderful Marx Bros bios. You seem to be one of a few that know of brother Manfred. That and other details prove you've done your homework. I grew up on the Marx Bros. and appreciate seeing such wonderful detail. Thank you so much.
