I'm working a lot on my family tree, so this site has been a natural growth from there. I've also been adding entries from transcriptions of cemeteries that have been done by others over the years. Many of them I've found on the internet and others are in book form. I love old and historical things, so this is a neat way for me to give back to the genealogical community.|

Thank you so much for such a prompt answer and transfer. It is people like you that still gives me hope for Find A Grave. Seems that a lot of the old rules are no longer abided by. Like so much of social media, courtesy & empathy has gone out of the window. I hope & try to be one of those that do this to help and there are still a lot of us out there & you seem to be one. Again - thank you. Be assured I will get in touch with the immediate family to make sure that one of them closer doesn't want to take over the memorial. That is why my managed memorials are so low, I'm an only kid, lol. You made my day.

If you didn't notice Connie, his wife, just passed, at the age of 94, Thursday night. I am her niece on the Boyd side & am trying to consolidate the memorials. I went in to request a transfer from you yesterday and found someone had already put up a memorial to her before she is even in the ground. I got ahold of the person yesterday asking if they were related & put in a request to them if she isn't. If you are related just let me know. Thank you for your consideration

Hi, I am researching my mother's DNA matches and their possible connections to me. Do you know why Sarah Briscoe Cole does not appear in the 1850 census alongside her husband, Samuel Cole and their children? Is it possible she died before 1854 - possibly in childbirth with her last child, in 1848 or 1849?

Jennifer, I think I've located the answer for Margaret and Hugh's marriage:
mentioned in the record of Hugh Kanada and Margaret Ralstin
Name: Hugh Kanada
Spouse's Name: Margaret Ralstin
Event Date: 22 Jun 1820
Event Place: , Brown, Ohio
Indexing Project (Batch) Number: M51315-1 , System Origin: Ohio-VR , GS Film number: 384273 , Reference ID: 2:1NGX9TF
located on Familysearch.org
On the 1820 census, the Kennedy names is spelled CANADA. If you have Ancestry, you can see this variation, which evidently repeated itself with other legal docs.
Also, Brown Co formed from part of Adams Co, which further adds to the confusion!
This answers my question, and I hope it clarifies it for you, too! Thanks so much for your help with this, and for establishing their memorials. Carol
