Bio

For forty years, I was an avid genealogist. Then family, friends and other people I met on the internet asked me for family history information and I opened my research to them. With that, they called it their own without giving me no credit for the research I did. Some even have written books about my ancestors and they took all the credit. So I stopped my research as it was no longer enjoyable.
I used to enjoy visiting cemeteries. The cemetery is simply a peaceful and tranquility place. Spending hours of searching and finally locating an ancestors grave. Then putting that information on the Find-A-Grave website. Now this site has become more of what should just be called Record-A-Death. People just copy and paste obituaries to see how many people they can get. Watch their number increase. For example, I had a niece pass earlier this year. As soon as the obit appeared in the local paper, someone posted it to the website. This was even before some family members knew of her death.
So now I am trying to find my self a new hobby to enjoy without some person ruining my past time.
