Thank you for the quick edits response. After her death, her husband married her sister. I have seen this in a number of families.

|Mary Jane (Meroney) Taylor||James Lloyd Maroney/Meroney|
I am trying to locate a date and the plot of burial of James Lloyd Maroney/Meroney, my 3rd great grandfather. This is the road block I am facing even though his father Capt. Philip Duvall Meroney has a huge amount of documents of his service in the Revolutionary War.
The only information I have found is that he died in Greenville County, S C. I actually qualify on 10 patriots, but I would really like to have one of these be in my Maiden Name.
I also have not been successful in proving the family link from James Lloyd and Capt Philip Duval. Some of the ancestors spelled the last name MAroney. I believe that James Lloyd was one of those. His wife was Mary Alice Edwards.
I hope to find anyone who can help me in my search.
Mary Jane (Meroney) Taylor in Texas
