Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a college student and have been working on my family's genealogy since 1998.

I will do updates to memorials within reason; however, I typically will NOT include complete obituaries on memorials.

RE: 73063420 Joseph A Goerner
Perfect - that's exactly what I wanted and I will make the edits now. Taking a picture of a grave, I don't have the death certificate and rely on volunteers like you to provide the information. I'm not quite sure about this new system of edits on Find A Grave, but I like it anyway. I'm unsure why some edits that come across in my email box have attached comments that provide a place for the suggester to give a reason or source for their request while the edit list in Find A Grave only has the actual edit. Whatever, I do what I can while I have time. THANKS for your time and interest. We all help to keep the ancestors alive for those who seek them.

73063420 Joseph A Goerner
Hi Matt,
I got your edit request 73063420 Joseph A Goerner. I don't see any explanation or source for the edit of birth/death place (from Harris County to Houston, Harris County, TX) and I am not related and haven't done research on the headstone (I am a volunteer photographer of headstones and generally don't research the headstones).

Are you related? Would you like me to transfer management to you?
If your answer is no to both these questions, I will have to decline to change the birth/death location without documentation.

I hope you understand and do not take offense.

Nancy Macdonald Jordan, Houston, TX

Thank you so much, Matt, for informing me of Mable Smith's Texas obituary. That was very thoughtful of you to send me the link...I really appreciate it. :)

I just wanted to thank you for the edits and corrections to the memorials I created. Although this isn't considered a true genealogy site, you are doing a great service to those who will be searching for their roots.
Keep up the work and keep those edits coming!

RE: Marcellus Sasse
Yes, you are correct about the year of birth on Charles "Carl"'s headstone being transposed. It's a shame it can't be corrected. That's the way mistakes are carried forward when someone doesn't know otherwise. Was glad I could locate the children in the family to link them to their parents.
