I am the Material Support Manager for the Wichita Bombardier Aircraft Service Center. I was once active as a volunteer for findagrave for many years, but have now "retired" from that. I enjoy helping others and this website is a great resource for genealogists and others looking for family members.|

|Jim Laudie||Thanks for the picture and a question|
On this marker for Thomas Baker, where does the 1884 come from? This could be a Thomas Baker I'm after, but the one I'm after would have died before 1880. And I don't see any dates on this marker.
Thanks for the help,
Thank you for the transfer of Clara Akins!

Thank you so much for trying to clarify the location of Glenn Cemetery. I wanted to let you know I spotted it today (could see some chain link and about 4 taller stones), from the road, as there is a substantial barbed wire fence in a WIDE perimeter around the creek and entire bluff. The fence does have a locked red vehicle gate, which is where I stopped to have my best angle of look. I'm glad you were able to access the cemetery and photograph it when you did!
Thank you so much, I appreciate you having taken the photos and setting up the memorials in the first place!

Hi, I know it's been years since you were an active volunteer photographer for my area of the world (Bond County Illinois), but I was wondering if possibly you remembered any more information about the location or accessibility of Glenn Cemetery along Newport Rd near Woburn, Illinois. I bicycle Newport Rd frequently and there is nothing to see from the road but thick trees and 'no trespassing' and 'no hunting' signs near the creek and bluff mentioned on the Glenn Cemetery findagrave profile page. I wondered if there was a path or faint vehicle/farm track to follow back to the cemetery when you were there? Anything you might remember about your experience finding it would be so helpful! Thank you.
