Iím in the beginning stages of doing a documentary on the life of Schlitzie (Iíve checked and donít think one exists). I think his story is interesting with the ups and downs and ďupĒ ending of his life. In the doc I plan to feature those in the sideshow business, performers, producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Fulchuck (ďAmerican Horror StoryĒ), those involved with The Ramones, include Schlitzie merchandise, etc. Iím going to shoot in Black & White. It will be a love letter and not an exploitation film.
I figure Iíve been promoting films and television series for so long, I want to make my own piece of history before I die.
When the time comes, I would love to talk to you about being a ďtalking headĒ in the film.
Please give it at least a thought. Iím going to figure out what crowdfunding entity to go with. The goal is to play festivals, try to get a theatrical or cable deal and go from there. My legacy to cinema.
Would love to hear from you.
All the Best,

|Verne Langdon||HEADSTONE CEREMONY|
My name is Verne Langdon and I wrote the Memorial/Obituary you read here at Find-A-Grave about Shlitze, whom I knew personally.
I am sorry you did not contact me about contributing to his headstone fund - I would have been most happy to.
I hope you will inform me as to the day and time of your ceremony for laying Shlitze's headstone - I would like very much to be invited, and even to say a few words about our little Friend.
