Just wandering around with more interesting folks in the cemetery.
What started as a quest to record my own family burials turned into a curiosity into local history. My goal is to document whole cemeteries, so that every burial can be "seen".
If I am managing your family member, it's because I walked the graveyard, found their final resting spot and documented it so folks would have a genealogical reference. If you would like to manage your family member's memorial, click the button to request a transfer. If there is incorrect information, please submit an edit. I take a lot of personal time and pride researching accuracy, "connecting the dots".
As of December 2020, I have thoroughly walked through Rosewood Memorial Park, checking each headstone has been recorded on Find-A-Grave. Not sure where my next cemetery project will be...
FOR THE LOVE OF PETE, STOP LABELING PERSONAL PHOTOS OF THE DECEASED AS GRAVE PHOTOS! This makes determining whether there is a grave photo or not 60% more difficult!!! ASSIGN YOUR PHOTO ACCURATELY PLEASE.
I have a new mission!! I have recently discovered GPS coordinates--WOW! What an amazingly cool tech function. I actually located a grave following the coordinates on my phone! That being said, Rosewood is only 29% GPS documented, and half of those are wrong, so that is my new project! Upload a pic, get a coordinate :)
