I live in Clearfield Co.,Pennsylvania and I love to go to cemeteries and visit. I started coping and taking pictures of the cemeteries around my area and started posting them here to help others with their genealogy as well as my own.
I collect obituaries (over 50k and still counting) I'm adding them on here (a Little at a time), to help with genealogy. (I keep every obit that I add on here for future records)
If I forgot something or something is wrong, please use the edit button to contact me, its faster for me to get them corrected.

RE: Saint Johns cemetery in Clearfield Co., PA
Thanks for getting back to me. I have never been to Clearfield Co., PA - I contacted Robert Gibson (he took a photo of the church at one of the Saint Johns cemetery listings) to find out if they are in fact the same cemetery. If so I will contact Find A Grave and ask them to merge them into one cemetery.

Saint Johns cemetery in Clearfield Co., PA
Hi! I saw you have Balko memorials at Saint Johns -

There also is another Saint Johns (with a photo of the church) at Find A Grave

Are they the same cemetery?

RE: Ethel Viola (Adams) Dittos

Thank you for the information. According to their death certificates Viola's parents are both buried there as well. James Adams died November 18, 1913 in McGee's Mills when he was run over by a train. He was buried the next day. His wife, Bessie (Brink) Adams died July 14, 1920 and was buried July 16, 1920. I thought maybe you might want those for your records as well.

Ethel Viola (Adams) Dittos
I was wondering what the burial source is for the memorial of Ethel Viola (Adams) Dittos who is buried in the Mahaffey Cemetery. I can not locate a tombstone for her so I assume her grave is unmarked. I thought perhaps you were using cemetery records. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Henrietta Turner # 21756744
It is ok to give them my email. I will also let you know if I find anything on her or her husband. I did find a very small clipping on the death of her mother. The dates of her death on the stone and the newspaper are different. Not unusual for that to happen. I just can't find which one is correct. I got a job at the prison in Philipsburg and still work at the motel so I do not have a lot of time anymore for research but will try to help when I can. Thanks.

RE: Henrietta Turner # 21756744
I can't find proof but I think that Henrietta was the second wife of James Turner. James came into my family tree three generations ago on the Hubler side. A Hubler married a Turner and that is the family that Henrietta married into. Since she is the wife of James then yes she is related. I would be grateful for any information that you can give. I have some paperwork from the Historical Society but not sure if it is the same as what you have. There is a lot of info on the Hubler's and the Hubler relatives there and not enough time to go through it. I have not been there since 2012. Thanks.
