|Gone Gravin ♥||Photo piracy|
On a side note, the information provided by Ellen White is absolutely untrue regarding your right to pirate someone else's photos. Doing so violates Find A Grave guidelines and terms of service as well as federal copyright law. If you have followed her stupid advice, please do the right thing and remove the photos. They could result in your account being suspended or closed. You might want to invest a little time in reading the site guidelines.

|Ms Betty||Alexander and Sarah Bruce McClanahan|
Thank you so much for the obit of my great grandmother. I did not know it existed. It does bring up new questions though since our records to date indicate that at the time of her death she only had 3 living children not five. Solve one mystery and another one comes up. I don't know what to think about Alexander we may never know for sure where he is buried. It could be Hebron since the relatives making the decision might have been his nephews in Kentucky, because his living children were all in Arkansas at the time of his death. Could you tell me of the sources you use to look up the obits? Are there books of them taken from newspaper records? In the case of a cemetery belonging to a church, Do the churches keep such records, that long ago?

|Ms Betty||Alexander McClanahan Mem#50551271|
You sent me the following message.
"According to Mr. McClanahan's
obituary and his Ky Death Cert., he was buried in the Hebron Church Cemetery
in Graves Co. Ky
Would you mind changing his burial location,, If it matching your data? Thanks"
Alexander McClanahan was my Great Grandfather. I found his death certificate as a happy accident since as you can see his name is misspelled. The information on his death certificate appears to be correct except I questioned his burial place because his wife and his children who died in Kentucky are buried in St Jerome Catholic Church Cemetery, Fancy Farm, KY. They were catholic and I believe he would have wanted to be buried there also. In regard to the Obit some things match and others do not. My ggrandfather did have two nephews who are mentioned in the obit but his brother George died before Alex in 1916. He also had three living children, two who attended his funeral even though they were living in Arkansas, who are not mentioned. I visited St. Jerome Cemetery in 1912 before I found the death certificate so I did not know about the Hebron Connection and did not go there to look for his grave which might or might not be marked. So I need some other proof that he is buried there before I will change his burial place. I would love to know for sure where he is buried. My grandmother his 3rd child who did not attend his funeral and was living in Arkansas at the time said he was buried in Mayfield according to her sister who did attend the funeral. I wonder if there is a Census of the Hebron Cemetery from another source? Thank you so much for posting the obit, another piece in a puzzle.

You requested photos of the graves of Christine and Leo Stahr from The Temple Cemetery in Louisville. The Temple Cemetery is online. Just type into Google: jewish cemetery louisville. The first link is for meyerfuneral.com. Click on that, and it will take you to the page where all of Louisville's Jewish cemeteries are listed. Click on The Temple, go to the correct alphabetical page, and you will see the Stahrs listed. You can click on both of them and you will see the photo of their grave. You can right click on the photo, click "save as," and save it to your computer. Knowing that, do you still need to have photos put on findagrave?
I'm appreciating all your editing today! Many thanks for all you do here!
