Levy - The Temple Cemetery
They told me there were about four pages of Levy's in this cemetery but they would not let me copy the pages :(. I looked around the area where your request was from and found numerous headstones. I am listing the names here for you and will work on getting those photos uploaded this week. I have also included the spelling of Levi.

I have not been able to locate Rosa Levy's headstone yet. The cemetery office has her death as being 1885. I will post the photo as soon as I can locate it (they gave me the wrong section/lot number, waiting on the person who handles this to come back from vacation).

Virginia Anne Malcolm
Virginia Anne Malcolm (#135909161) is buried in the Mausoleum at the Sikeston City Cemetery. Her birthdate is April 7, 1942 and death date is Dec. 28, 1961. I have added photos for her as well as for her parents on the Sikeston City Cemetery pages.

The Markhams
Well, that was a little surprise. Apparently I can't change the order of photos involving a cemetery photo.

The Markhams
.A, Thanks so much for the obituaries and newspaper articles for the Markhams and for Anne's transfer.

As to your suggestion to place tombstone photos above such articles, I am in full agreement and it is my usual practice to do so unless under special circumstances. If you should notice any I have missed, please let me know.

I have requested tombstone photos for the Markhams and hope to receive them soon. Until then I am thinking of putting the cemetery photo on top... it looks so peaceful.

Thanks again for your help!

Are you related? I would be glad to transfer her to you.

The Mathis memorial pages were transferred to you which is to why I am asking.

You are the memorial holder for many of the Mathis family from Kentucky. Are you a relative?

Annie Catherine Parrish Markham cemetery
.A, thank you for your response. Fortunately Oscar Markham and his 1st wife Bonnie have been found in Clinton Cemetery -- also their son Charles have been found Riverside Cemetery. But I would really appreciate your help with the cemetery for Anne (Annie) Catherine Parrish Markham, died Dec 31, 1999 apparently in Clinton KY. She may also be in Clinton Cemetery but since theirs was a second marriage and she died so much later, she may be buried elsewhere.
Thanks so much,

RE:Reverend Oscar Clyde "O. C." Markham and wife Annie Catherine Parrish Markham
Hi A, a friend found the cemetery for Oscar Markham - Clinton Cemetery in Clinton. But she didn't find anything on Annie Catherine Parrish Markham. I first thought Annie would be in Clinton also, but they married late in life and she may be buried elsewhere with a first husband. But I would still appreciate the obituaries for both of them for my records, if you should happen to find them...

Reverend Oscar Clyde "O. C." Markham and wife Annie Catherine Parrish Markham.
Hi - I was given your name by Diane Kipplen who said you sometimes do obituary searches for the Paducah KY area and I would very much appreciate your services.

I am trying to find the burial location for Reverend Oscar Clyde "O. C." Markham and his 2nd wife Annie Catherine Parrish Markham. The SSDI shows Mayfield for Oscar and another source shows Clinton but as he was a preacher they lived in several places. I can't find either of them on Findagrave which is rather surprising since both were rather well known in that area. Oscar was one of the co-founders and president for almost 20 years of the West KY Bible College (now known as Mid-Continent University) and she the librarian there. After his death she was known for teaching and founding libraries all over the world. She was also the author of "People Are All Alike Under Their Skins".

Annie was born in McNeill, Pearl River, Mississippi in 1905. He was born in Giles County Tennessee in 1900 and died in 1976 - she in 1999, in Mayfield or Clinton. Oscar's son, Charles E Markham (obituary 1993) was buried in Riverside in Hopkinsville- so they may be buried there but I can't find a cemetery listing for it. l'd like very much for them to be remembered with memorials on Findagrave but just can't find the cemetery where they are buried. I have even wondered if possibly they were buried on the grounds of the University but have found nothing to indicate that. I'm hoping there are obituaries and/or articles in Kentucky newspapers but I have found nothing online. Help in locating their burial locations would be greatly appreciated!
