Resides in Howard County, MD. My own family research has led me to many graveyards and cemeteries, where I obtain transcriptions. I also extract information from newspaper obituaries. My postings at FindaGrave or Ancestry.com are intended solely to help people locate the grave of a relative or friend. |
If you find an error, or have additional information, please email it to me. I am more than happy to make corrections or additions to any of my listings.

Hi! I need the burial Section and Lot Numbers in order to take a photograph for you. This cemetery's staff does not help photo volunteers, and the burial location is not available anywhere else.
Last year I fulfilled over 450 photo requests at this cemetery after the burial location was provided.
P.S. I tried to look up his burial location at the local library, but I could not find his name in the list of burials for this cemetery.

Please check the Alleghany Cemetery Book through 1986. The edits you are requesting are Caudill. I have asked Carole to research the spelling.

There is a tombstone transcription done in 1897 for this cemetery at the Chester county historical society if interested. IE; Elmer Charlton, "who dyed June 5th, 1745- aged 31 years"
Mary Charlton's Find A Grave entry matches the transcription.
The listing is in the Cemetery Files under St. John's Episcopal.

There were only 21 stones documented in this cemetery. There could be 300+ actually here. I have begun photo all of them. I might come across others. Keep checking. The church is a block to the west of the cemetery. No snow here.
