Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm mostly adding memorials and bios on my family, distant family, and friends of the family. I'd love to hear from anyone who knew them.
If you are related to someone I listed and feel you are more of a direct relation to them than Mark and me, and want to take over the memorial, please let me know.
PLEASE, Do Not use my photos as your own. I own the rights to most them. If you'd like a photo, please ask.

RE: Decker Grave Photos
I replaced some photos with ones without the sunlight interference. And yes it is a beautiful and peaceful place.

RE: Jairus Chase/Walter Chase connections
Thanks, I tried to send an edit to link Father Walter, 130743244, and mother Flora: 130743732, but I'm not sure it worked?
Maybe you can try?
Thanks!

RE: Jairus Chase/Walter Chase connections
Thanks. I guess I will make a virtual entry for Walter and Florence for now, so that I can link up the two "Jairus"es. If and when the grave locations are found, we can add that info. later. Thank you for the information! Best, Mel

RE: Jairus Chase
Thanks for the tip!
Here's a Walter Chase (1900-1965) Find A Grave Memorial# 5640031 who seems to have been a father to Richard Chase, and married to a Flora Chase (since whe is also linked to Richard, although she is not linked to Walter) who were both alive in 1940 census in MA:
See
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Chase&GSiman=1&GScid=91361&GRid=5640031&

But this Walter was born in 1900 about the same year as your Jairus (b. 1901) so he was probably not his father. Maybe his brother? Any thoughts on who Jairus' father was? Thanks!

Flora Chase in the 1940 Census
Age 38, born abt 1902
Home in 1940
204 Yarmouth Road Barnstable, Massachusetts
Household Members Age
Head Walter Chase 40
Wife Flora Chase 38
Son Walter Chase Junior 18
Son Edwin Chase 16
Son Richard Chase 12
Son Loyd Chase 9
Daughter Joan Chase 5
…and 1 others (view record).

"Jairus Strong Chase" - connection?
Hi Gwen.
Do you think that your "Jairus Strong Chase"
Find A Grave Memorial# 18893903
Birth: Apr. 24, 1901
Death: Mar. 18, 1988

could be related to the below Pvt Jarius Strong Chase [stone says "JAIRUS"] #57820663?
It seems like their similarities would suggest so.
Do you know how they might be related, and if so, do you think we can "link" them up on Find A Grave? That would be neat.
Thanks!
-Mel
