I am married to a wonderful man. We are the parents of three grown children and two teen-age granddaughters. I became interested in Find-A-Grave as a way of remembering and honoring my loved ones - friends, relatives, ancestors. I also like leaving tokens on the memorials of others. My interests are genealogy, and, the Civil War. I have met so many wonderful people on Find-A-Grave, and, I hope I can continue to contribute as I have time. It is a wonderful source of information.
Thomas Lloyd Crawley I wanted to let you know that I posted a family picture of Thomas Lloyd Crawley as a child with his brothers, sisters, parents, one uncle and a grandfather on his memorial. One of his sisters was my great grandmother.
Just a note to let you know I quite by accident discovered the Find a Grave memorial you created for Ralph today, as I was working on our genealogy (something I've been doing all my adult life)...I didn't know the memorial existed but was pleased and happy to see it. Thank you.
Also, this is a very small matter, but I wanted to let you know our Mom's name is Leetha, with two e's.
Not a day goes by that I don't think of my big brother, Ralph. He was a very important part of my life and I miss him every day. I have visited his grave a number of times, it's so far away from all of us, but we visit every time we get the chance.
RE: Maggie Aldridge You are welcome for the photo, and if I haven't told you already you are welcome to use it on other sites if you wish. I actually enjoy contributing, it gets me out walking & the weather has been lovely for it. I'm also paying it forward to so many that have helped me. Have any requests in Ellis county, just let me know & I'll do my best.
