Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy is a passion of mine from when I was very young. My grandmother told me wonderful stories about our families and I have been doing family history for over 30 years. I have traveled all over the world photographing family graves and writing books on my different families. I need another 25 years to finish everything I have started!

PLEASE do not add birth or death certificates to my memorials!

John Lewis Gaines
Hi Karen:

My name is Kathie Gaines Richardson and I am the granddaughter of John Lewis Gaines. After viewing his grave site information, I thought I would bring it to your attention that John Lewis Gaines was not cremated upon his death. He is buried at Smith Mills Cemetery in Smith Mills, (Henderson County) Kentucky along side his first wife Anna Mae Hollifield Gaines (my grand mother). My family and I have been putting flowers on our grandparents graves for the last 69 years. Please make a correction so that other genealogists will know that he has a burial place. Thanking you in advance

RE: Liddie Parrish
I just saw that! Thank you so very much. I'm a disabled vet and do family history for something to do. I don't have great computer skills but get by. My education is in anthropology with emphases on migration. I like too know how folks got around. Genealogy leans it's self to that end.

Thank you again.
Terrill.

RE: Henry Bennett
Thank you! I ran across it while looking for someone else, and it was kind of a neat coincidence as I had just photographed that cemetery early this month. :)

Thank you Karen. I had never been to Yeocomico church until I was at a family reunion nearby, 3 years go. My husband had been there as a child and then for several family funerals. What a lovely place it is.

RE: Richard Lee
You are quite welcome. I am glad that you elected to post the obit in it's entirety as so many other contributors elect not to do and, in my opinion, this is doing a great disservice to future family researchers as obits oftentimes offer a vast amount of family info that will not be found anywhere else in a few years time.
