Eloi Joseph Gravel and Marquerite Masse
According to family records, a member went to France to determine their burials. Joseph and Marguerite died in Perche, France. Abt 1618 and 1615. That may be wrong, but it appears they never immigrated to Canada.

Hi. This is a long shot but here goes. I am looking for the burial site of Howard L. Wakeman d. Oct 28, 2003 and his in-laws: Anna M. Walsh (Walsch) d. Aug 21, 1958 and her husband: Edward F. Walsh (Walsch) d. Sept. 11, 1980. They were all three Catholic. I am related to all three and am trying to find where they are buried so I can put them on Find a Grave. Can you help? You could email me direct at helenr@stjoewireless.com I am also trying to find the obits for these three people.

Appreciate any help.

Girard Gravel
I have located the death certificate for Girard however I am not sure if he is buried in the
Lake Twp./Evergreen cemetery. I will be in that area tomorrow and weather permitting I will see if I can locate the grave. Maybe you will be able to determine the name on the certificate. I could not read the writing.
Do you know if any of the rest of the family are buried in Lake Co.?

RE: Joseph Masse Gravel dit Brindeliere
Nope, haven't made it to Canada yet. Passport expired! Unlike the US where you have to pay for genealogical records (in most cases), Canada has wonderful free records. Also the churches and historical societies have email addresses and will look things up.
Two Parishes actually verified burials AND headstones. One didn't have a local F.A.G. photographer. The other did, and I got four photos. I just do a lot of research.

Joseph Pierre Gravel should also be at La Visitation, Chateau-Richlieu, per my records. I don't have the others, as I descend from Jean Pierre's brother Charles. I haven't ventured that far off my direct limb. Sorry.

RE: Joseph Masse Gravel dit Brindeliere
It is my understanding, that in Quebec, graves are reprocessed after 100 years to allow for more burials. In less one is rich and can afford the maintenance. I may be wrong, but that's what I was told. So no, there is no headstone.
I am also a descendant, and I go through old church records from Canada. Many times there was only one cemetery within miles. At other times, the cemetery name is listed on the left side of the burial record.
I have also mailed church parishes and asked them. The Catholic churches have very good records and and usually know who was buried there.
Which child do you descend through?

RE: Beatrice Irene Bordell Keil
Found out why I couldn't find the headstone. Her memorial is in the wrong cemetery. She is buried in the St. Mary's cemetery in Evergreen Park, Cook County, IL and not the St. Mary's cemetery in Waukegan, Lake County, IL. I have sent a correction to the creator asking her to move her memorial over there. I found this information out when I went to the cemetery office who is in charge of the one in Waukegan.
