Jan is currently the Historian/Office Manager for Oakland & Fraternal Historic Cemetery Park. She retired in 2001 from the Arkansas History Commission where she worked as a Library Technical Assistant. Jan is Past President of the Arkansas Genealogical Society, served on the AGS Board of Directors 1991-2010. She was National Chair for the 2009 FGS/AGS National Conference held in Little Rock and was Vice-resident of Administration for the Federation Of Genealogical Societies.
