Hope all enjoy this project. Very worth while to help find links to family. Thanks to all who have helped me thes emany years ! I have spent many years researching my Shepherd/Goldsmith and allied families of Ohio and other states and my husbands's Moss/Sherouse and allied families of Fl , Ga and other states. I adore graveyards and when traveling like to explore them even if they are not my family. I have tried to put as much of the truth I know. It is all public records. I do not put anything that would not be as truthful as I have found. I glady transfer to you if you are a direct relative, as I try only to do family memorials I do not transfer that many. Let me know how close is your relationship and I will try to honor the request. " So much information So little time "
RE: Winegardner I appreciate your thank you and apologize for the length of time it took me to get the photo. I first thought there was no headstone for him, but cemetery staff said that he did have one. So I poked around and found there was a marker under several inches of dirt. Then I kept forgetting to take my digging tools with me. Was delighted to uncover his headstone yesterday---it just adds to the story about his being "forgotten." Regards, Barbara
I apologize for not remembering the name. It didn't ring a bell. My Thompson contention is though Ancestry DNA. My cousin and I did our DNA. Your Robert Thompson I got from Ancestry, and Familysearch. I very willing transfer it to you if want? I have very little information on this family.
I was glad I was able to help. My Dad was born around Rockport, so I was glad I had a chance to visit Rockport Methodist Cemetery. Samuel's sister, Elizabeth Rockhill, is my 2nd great grandmother. Best Wishes,
