Please allow thirty (30) days for edits... I have a life outside of FindAGrave.com.|
With the exception of links, POB/POD; I usually DO NOT accept blind edits, so please do not be offended when I request your source.
TO POTENTIAL CONTRIBUTORS OF "ADDITIONAL INFO":
I appreciate additional info to memorials which I've created/maintain, but PLEASE LIMIT your info. This site is called FIND-A-GRAVE, not "Find The Genealogy History Of...".
I do not feel it at all appropriate to turn a memorial into an entire "genealogy work". Certainly it will be ONE, OF MANY valuable resources for genealogist' in their research.
I will not accept "cut & paste" items from FamilySearch.org. Aside from it being PROHIBITED by their website, it's just tacky, tacky, tacky!
For those genealogy novices' who like to think every "record" hosted at FamilySearch.com is correct, THEY ARE NOT, as any seasoned genealogist will attest. For the purpose of this site, I record dates as inscribed on headstones. When presented with the possibility the stone info may be incorrect, I will certainly add a note regarding alternative dates.
Need to contact a contributor who has submitted edits/Info for a memorial I maintain? Cut & Paste the following link, then enter their ID#.
***I DO NOT POST OBITS, post 1922***
Please refer to Find A Grave's rules of use under FAQ, by clicking on "Help with Find A Grave" in the left-side menu.
I will not list a person who does not have a DOD inscribed on their stone, unless I have verified their death. Many people have pre-ordered their cemetery markers for the "inevitable", thus their name and DOB being posted online BEFORE THEY DIE, is a violation to their privacy.
I endeavor to compare NAMES and DATES, so that I don't create an entry for someone previously listed by another variation of their name, so please let me know if I have duplicated a memorial.
NOTE: 99% of the headstone photos I've added are best viewed when "clicked-on".
Headstone photo's may be copied to other sites WITH the proper citation to FindAGrave.com., but photos of INDIVIDUALS MAY NOT be used on ANY OTHER WEBSITE without my permission.

|charles harrison||Public apology|
Ms. Liz, although it seems too late, and for what it's worth, I apologize to you for compromising my own character by accusing you of being rude and condescending toward me while conducting my Findagrave business concerning my Wife's Grandfather's memorial. I never intended for it to end up in deletion of his memorial or for anyone to become angry but I guess hindsight is 20/20. I created another memorial for him for the sole purpose of posting my apology in his bio section in hopes that you might read it and somewhere within yourself, find a way to except my public apology as I feel terrible about the whole thing. I can delete the memorial for him so you can be the creator if you want but however way, he deserves to have a memorial on Findagrave with nothing negative on it. What started as seeking compromise somehow ended up in compromization of character, mine, and I apologize for it. C. Harrison

Re: Edith Agnes Jones
When time is available would you please connect Edith with her parents?
father: J. S. Grantham #27860108
mother: Minnie Sylvester #104527696
Minnie is J. S. G. first wife. Later she married J. M. Sylvester. Her maiden name is Stephens.
J. S. Grantham is my grandfather, and Edith, his daughter is my aunt.
I can send you census copies if needed.
Hope all is well with you.
