KNOBLACH, ALICE - GATE OF HEAVEN CEMETERY I have noticed that you entered a photo request for the above, if you could please remove the request and re-enter it with the following information, it would be very helpful to all volunteer photographers.
I just uploaded the photo for H. Richmond Campbell. I also took photos for the remainder of the family surrounding the obelisk. I've added them to the cemetery along with their photos. I tried to link them as best I could, but I thought perhaps you would want to confirm some information before this was completed. These are the family members I found and added:
Parents of H. Richmond: Frank J #155750302 Helen R #155750917
Wife of H. Richmond: Dorothy #155749882
Son of H. Richmond and Dorothy: Bruce #155749998
Now for the ones I'm less sure of... Helen M #155750173 - based on dates 1899-1984 I am guessing she's H. Richmond's sister, and daughter of Frank and Helen R (but want to make sure she's not a second wife, perhaps!)
Dannie T #155750087 - died as an infant in 1868
There are two further inscriptions on one side of the obelisk (which is difficult to read on any of the sides.) It appears to read "Hortense Weller, wife of Henry M Campbell 1844-1906." The dates would make me think Dannie T was their infant son. But then I can't think of how they would be H. Richmond's parents, unless Hortense was much younger than Henry M. Can you shed any light on this? I didn't upload them yet because I didn't want to create errors in the records.
Finally, if you would like me to transfer these Campbells to you, I am happy to do so.
Mount Olive Photo Request Hi. I will be going to Mount Olive cemetery over the next 3 or 4 weeks (weather permitting) to take photos of my relatives grave sites and I saw you had a request(s). If you would call the cemetery office (number on the front page of the cemetery page) and get the location of the burial, I will try to get the photo request for you while I am there. Just add it to your memorial in the plot section. They are very helpful at the office. Kathy
RE: Jacque Joseph Ayd Thank you for the kind words. It was my absolute honor to take those pictures. I left a flag and had a small prayer service there after I took them. I am a retired police officer and my son is an active duty Marine. (2 tours Iraq, 3 tours Afghanistan) Thank you for your service as well and I'll keep Jacque in my prayers always.
