Bio Photo PLEASE REQUEST TRANSFERS.... If you are related and can enhance the memorial by adding additional information, please request transfer, giving me your relationship. No transfers just for collection of a particular family name.

If you request a transfer, be sure you are committed to a lifetime of maintaining the memorial. Unfortunately a few of my older transfers are maintained by contributors who no longer respond.

IMPORTANT: When sending information to add, give source of information. Without sources, sorry, but changes will not be made. With new quick edits, this is still important. Unless evident on memorial, please use the other suggestion and include source.

We've searched many graveyards, seen stones that were in such disrepair, and wondered what would happen to them as time marched on. This site is a wonderful way to preserve, if not the actual stone, at least a replica by photograph for future genealogists.

If you have taken better gravestone photos that what we have posted, please post yours and send a message - we will review and delete ours if appropriate.

Happy graving to all!

RE: Correction 102703765
Was caught up dealing with one of George's uncles and just got back to him. I've saved the listing of Pastor Koontz officiating at George's funeral since brother David and mother Catherine passed, apparently, in the ten or so years preceeding. Mother lived with George in 1900 so . . . maybe the pastor or predecessor officiated.

Thanks again. I may be back depending what Rock I turn up.

May I have your permission, with attribution, to use your photos on Ancestry?

RE: Correction 102703765
Thanks . . .

I can't tell you how many times I've looked at those town records without success.

Sometimes you just have to walk away to clear your head or find someone to hold your hand.

I've had a real time with ancestry records for Catherine because it has been reported and copied that she died before 1860 but I've found her in census up to 1900.

Very exciting for almost 70 years to know nothing about the Boslers and now to find bits and pieces. We've only lived in this area a little more than 4 years so we're still finding our way.

Correction 102703765
George Washington Bosler was born 1852, not 1862. I can provide both the birth record and the 1860 census listing.

His mother Catherine Pendergrass was born 1814.

May I ask how/where you accessed the information "Funerals Officially Attended by J. P. Koontz." I suspect there may be a treasure trove there.

RE: Pending edits...
I learn something new every day. Thank you for enlightening me. I never paid any attention to the edit tab. I usually get emails or messages. I have added your plot info for Verne Channing. Thanks again. =)

RE: Edits pending
First; Thanks for all your information you have provided. You are truly a good person for tracking down needed information. During the summer I rarely check find a grave and by stretch of the imagination am I a genealogist. All of our memorials are of our past fireman and first responders. Maintaining them have become more than I ever though of. I still have trouble with duplicates.

Hi Linda,

Thanks for pointing out his correct cemetery. I have deleted my memorial and do not need for you to transfer #90808859 to me. Your memorial looks fine to me.

Thanks, Al
