Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've walked many graveyards, seeing stones in bad shape, and wondered what would happen to them as time marched on. This site is a wonderful way to preserve, if not the actual stone, at least a replica by photograph for the future.

If related and can enhance memorial by adding additional information, please request transfer, stating your relationship. No transfers for collection of a particular family name. If you request transfer, be sure you are committed to a lifetime of maintaining the memorial. Sadly, a few of my older transfers are maintained by contributors who no longer respond.

When sending information to add, include verifiable source. Edits will be verified before being accepted. With quick edits, this is still important so unless evident on memorial, please use the other suggestion and include source. Online trees, such as ancestry's, and family reports are not valid sources unless sources are noted.

I no longer add dates of birth calculated from age at death unless a photo of the stone is legible. (I got caught on a couple bad transcriptions which threw off the calculated birthdate).

Links will not be made to memorial in unknown cemeteries.

If you have taken better gravestone photos that what I've posted, please post yours and send a message.

I may try to contact contributors if I question an edit. For those who hide themselves completely by not showing email or allowing comments, my only choice is to decline and hope they resubmit with additional information.

Let me know if you have any questions on my listings - I love a good genealogy search and will try to help if possible!

Happy graving to all!

RE: Clifford Kaiser 30439923
His obituary says he died at The Village of Laurel Run, and I know for a fact that that is in Fayetteville. You can look it up. Dorcas "Skip", Clifford's sister, was my Uncle Leonard Shatzer's ex-wife and the mother of my cousins, Cinda and Candi.

It's from the book "Genealogy of the Family of Ludwig (Kornman) Cornman," as are all of the other edits I have sent, and will continue to send. It'll take me quite a while to get through it, so if you see edits from me, that's where they're from! Thanks :)

RE: Hettie Hosler #99185167
I found the info in the Biographical annals of Cumberland County. The info was in a sketch about J.R. Hosler, the son of Henry & Hettie. Henry Hosler had worked on the Jacob Ritner farm, and that he and Hettie were married in 1853 and it confirms she was the daughter of Jacob & Alice Scott Ritner. 1850 census info, also confirms this sketch. It was a great read. I found it while researching Joseph Ritner Hosler, the grandson of Hettie & Henry. It can be found at ancestry.com. I saved it to their pages. The sketch was written around 1900, as their grandson Joseph Ritner was a small boy. If you find the correct annal, it is on page 567 & 568.

RE: Mary Wagner 104675980
Apologies, I missed supporting documentation for attaching to mother Mary Vanderbilt Fosnot (Fosnaught; please review the following:

11. Biographical Annals of Franklin County, Pennsylvania, Vol 2 page 602: History of Fosnot Family: Jacob Fosnot and Mary Vanderbilt Fosnot married 06.06.1826; daughter Mary J Fosnot married to Jacob M Wagner with daughter M Alice Wagner married to John G Stouffer.(There was an erratum in this history for the birth year of Mary J Fosnot Wagner when compared to census records and tombstone.)

Thank you for your time and research.
