RE: Farnam family
Here is the marriage record for Thaddeus and Lucinda

They were married in Latah County Idaho (Moscow). It must have been easier to obtain a license or it was closer then Whitman County Courthouse, because I have found many Whitman County residents married in Moscow, Idaho including my own great-grandparents.

RE: Farnam family
Hi Christina, yes I am related to the Farnams who came from Kansas around 1890 to Whitman County just south of Spokane. Thaddeus Farnam was a 1st cousin of my great-grandfather Rathael Farnam. I don't know much about Thaddeus' first wife, Sarah Lucinda Choat. I know she and her family were already in Whitman County when the Farnams arrived, so they must have married in Whitman County or possibly in Moscow, Idaho. Lucinda died in 1912. One of her children, Augusta Leona Farnam Owens and husband Clarence Rice Owens did some genealogy research and their papers were donated somewhere after their deaths, can't remember where at the moment. Also Thaddeus had a sister Amanda Farnam Curtis - one of her children (or possibly a grandchild) also did some research and donated her work to the Whitman County Genealogical Society. Do some google searches and you should be able to find these places. Also try - tons of records there. Let me know if you have any specific questions or if I can help in any way. Good luck. Kay

Fred Hargis Maynard
I just needed to state that I appreciate what you are doing for all of us searching for our roots. However, My Grandfather: Fred Hargis Maynard was not the child of Adcock. Adcock was his step-mother. His birth mother (my great grandmother) was Saffroney Tennessee Spivey (spivy). It is believed she passed either giving birth to or just after giving birth to Fred Hargis.
