Bio Photo Hello, folks!
I truly appreciate this site since it allows fitting tributes to "friends" who have touched our lives without necessarilly ever meeting us.
I am a graduate of University of Toronto and enjoy a busy lifestyle in Canada.

I am fit, outgoing, friendly, and by nature, a true romantic. I welcome any comments you have regarding MY comments. Please feel free to contact me. At best we can become friends. At worst, we can agree to disagree. Thanks for taking the time to read about me!

Re: Susan Jasenec's Grave
Correction: Had Susan Jasenec's story not touched my life, I would not have become friends with Natalia and would not have become Juwanna's teacher...sorry my mind's asleep today

Please also know that a candle was lit for Laurie and her family at the Grotto in Lourdes.

Re: Susan Jasenec's Grave
May I add that if my life was not touched by the story of Susan Jasenec, I would not be teaching up here. It was the memory of Susan Jasenec that inspired me to become friends with another girl at my school who had leukemia named Natalia. Many years after Natalia and I became friends, Natalia told me to apply for a teaching job up North. Had Susan Jasenec's story not touched my life, I would have become friends with Natalia and would have become Juwanna's teacher. Juwanna says I'm her favorite teacher:)So my being up here and teaching these little ones is also my tribute to Susan Jasenec...and her sister.

Re: Susan Jasenec's Grave
Susan Jasenec's grave had to be taken down, along with the other memorials, due to problems with privacy and harassment. If you want to know where Susan is buried, you can look up the obituary for her sister which is publicly online. You will find Laurie's Caringbridge site link and that has the information. Again, this is all public information that the family has posted. I hope that if Susan Jasenec's family is reading this that the know that I tried to save Laurie's life by being on the Bone Marrow Registry. I would have donated my marrow to Laurie without expecting anything in return. Please also know that Laurie was lovingly remembered at our Terry Fox Run last September. We wore bright colors to honor Laurie and knew she was shining down on us. Laurie and Susan have a special place in my classroom. They are privately honored each day and I know they're guiding me each day as I teach my Grade 4s. BTW, how did you find out that Laurie died? Did you know Susan and Laurie?

Thank you for caring
Barry
Words cannot express my gratitude for not only visiting. my father's memorial but actually reading about his life and how he touched the lives of so many. My father and I were very close... he was my everything. When cancer so unmercifully ravaged his body and took his life, I was beyond devastated. He was a hard working, kind, gentle and, loving father of 6. He was a devout Catholic who loved God, his family and his country. Your kind words truly touched me and I know my father would have been just as grateful. Thank u once again for caring. God bless you.

RE: Susan Jasenec's grave
Barry,

Susan's memorial has been gone for a few years, the person that created her memorial left Find A Grave and deleted all her memorials; I was only the sponsor of Susan's memorial. I do not remember where she is buried, nor did I write the poem. I am so sorry to hear about Laurie. Sorry, I couldn't be more helpful.

Take Care & Hope all is good,

"With All My Love"

You're Such a Sweetheart ❤

Barry, thank you so very much for the lovely comments you left on my husband's memorial. I know Craig is so pleased with the little token, too. And how we did love to dance!

I'm so deeply moved by the comments you've left for your beloved Momsey. By the time I read them all, I was in tears. How proud she must be of you.

Thank you for visiting Craig. I'll be back to visit your dear mother again.

Have a great week and take the best of care. Hugs to you, Suse

Thanks on behalf of Eileen
Barry, thank you for adding flowers & nice comment on my friend Eileen's memorial (57259004). She would have really enjoyed the dolphins, as she was so in tune with the ocean. Blessings to you!

Thank you
Thank you for remembering Jon-Erik Hexum. The token you left for him makes me laugh whenever I look at it. He wasn't thrilled about his "beefcake" persona but realized it was good for his career. I'm sure he's laughing at your token as well.
