My mother was born in Milford, Connecticut, as was I. My early years were spent at 68 Cherry Street, directly across from Milford Cemetery where my grandfather, Clifton Harvey, had bought a plot for his family. The cemetery was one of my favorite places to go when I was a child, and although I now live in Illinois, I have brought my own children and grandchild there. Since those years, we have added seven burials.
