Bio

My name is Chaplain Dennis William Hawkins, and I would first like to thank the founder/s of Find A Grave. I think this is a wonderful site, for those that love and appreciate cemeteries. I was born and rasied in Chicago, IL. and have loved cemereries ever since my great aunt Leona Haynes, took me to Lincoln Cemetery, in Blue Island, IL. I have lived in six states, and have tried to take pictures and visit as many cemeteries as possible. I like to meditate and relax in cemeteries and think about those that have crossed the veil. I believe in an after life, and feel that the dead know more then us. Cemeteries remind us of our past and prepare us for death. I currently live with Deborah, my wife (1974) in Unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado.
