|I am a retired 79 year old systems analyst. 26 years ago I undertook a family history project to identify the descendants of my paternal 3rd great-grandparents, James McMonigle & Osse Jacobs through five children. I have also been identifying the descendants of my paternal grandmother's family line - the Descendants of George Mowrer & Catherine Ruby of Harrison County, Indiana. Peggy Byerly of Corydon, Indiana has also been involved in both of these projects. Peggy has taken hundreds of grave markers photos in the area of Harrison County, Indiana and has researched data and found obituaries posted on the Find-A-Grave web site for these two family lines. |
I maintain two family history web sites on my McMonigle and Mowrer projects. If you are interested in viewing these sites, send me an email and I will send you the links. I am particularly interested in hearing from any related people or researchers who are related to any of the family lines.
NOTE - MOST OF THE MEMORIALS I CREATE ARE RELATED IN MY MAINTAINED EXTENDED FAMILY HISTORY AND I LINK THE MEMORIALS WHERE POSSIBLE. I REQUEST GRAVE PHOTOS WHEN NEEDED. I ALSO ADD OBITUARIES, PERSONAL PHOTOS, AND OTHER DOCUMENTS AND IMAGES. I DISCOVER FROM TIME TO TIME WHERE SOMEONE HAS CREATED A BRIEF MEMORIAL FOR SOMEONE IN MY MAINTAINED FAMILY HISTORY. MANY OF THESE EXISTING MEMORIALS HAVE BEEN CREATED BY UNRELATED PEOPLE FROM CEMETERY DATA, CEMETERY VISITS, OBITUARIES, ETC. I MAY REQUEST A TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP FOR FURTHER UPDATING, LINKING TO OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS, CONSIDERABLE EDITING, ETC. I ALSO GRANT THE SAME COURTESY TO OTHERS WHO MAY BE MORE CLOSELY RELATED TO DECEASED MEMORIALIZED ON THE FIND-A-GRAVE WEB SITE.

|Heather Albertson||Evaline Beanblossom stone|
We found & posted a photo of her stone, along with a transcription. She was laid to rest immediately to the right of her parents Nelson & Clarissa ("Clairicy"), the stone was lying flat & overgrown by turf, which we carefully cleared. Note that surname spelling, on all three stones, is "Beanblossom." Suggest updating the record to include spelling as seen on stones. There is an "Eveline Beenblossom" elsewhere in Schrock cemetery, but note the spelling of both first & last names is different. Lastly - although unclear in the photo, her age at death is listed as 10 Yrs, 1 Mos, 12 Dys, which gives a calculated DOB of 23 July 1842. May I suggest updating the information you have on the main memorial?

Sorry name plate was so hard to read, not much i could do.
|Alvin Poole||RE: Fairview cemetery|
Thank you the coordinance must be off, as it shows the cemetery down by Battle Creek? I know of Clearwater, Frenchtown, IOOF/All Saints, but not this one! Hmm will have to investigate this further. Thanks
|Alvin Poole||Fairview cemetery|
Can you please tell me where the Fairview cemetery is in Clearwater, NE. I was just there for a Hemenway reunion in June 2014, and have never heard of that cemetery? Thank Alvin 47244491.

|Rhonda Tincher||Walter Killion|
Glad I helped you find the cemetery where Walter was buried at. That is what this is all about.
I have found this stone but it is so far under dirt that its not readable. Would you still like the picture? I will be contacting the caretakers to see if i may pull the stone from the dirt and stand it back up.
|Carol Bogan||RE: CORTEZ TINDALL|
You are most welcome. His tombstone was completely buried under grass and had to be cleared. We were completely shocked to see that he was a military veteran and now he will be forever recognized online or in the Mt Olivet Cemetery
I am so glad to hear my and my husband(Dan)efforts with a labor of love helped bring peace to you.
I hope someone someday will be able to do the same for me and or my husband.

|Suz||RE: DONALD B. LETERLE|
I also took a photo of Herbert Leterle's stone . . .it was one plot to the east of Donald's. I haven't taken the time to create a memorial for him. Do you have an interest in that photo? I'd be happy to create a memorial and post the photo if you don't have a connection.
