Lt Terry L. Reed, KIA Viet Nam 1969
I have had Lt Terry L. Reeds POW/MIA bracelet since 1970 when I joined the US Army. Although shot down in 1969, I recently learned that his remains were recovered in 1994 and identified in 1998. He was buried at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, his home of record state. I was on many funeral details when stationed at Ft Sam in 1971, and I am happy that Terry has come home. I would like to send his bracket to his wife at the time of his death 47 years ago Sharon A. Reed of Cooper, Texas. If anyone knows how to contact her or any other surviving family member please let me know, thank you.

Joseph Widener - Memorial#117450042
Eddie,
I noticed your message to my Uncle Joe and I just wondered if you had a photo of him. I have never met Uncle Joe but I found a very old family picture and I think that it is possible that the picture was Uncle Joe.

Thank you for any help,

Joseph Compa
Thank you for connecting Joseph's son to him. I also connected his son Ralph today.
Joseph has a very sad story.
I found his death certificate & he was found dead on the second story of an abandoned home suffering the effects of drinking rubbing alcohol.
No one ever talked about the effects of coming back from the war back then. There was no such thing known of PTSD like they list today. It doesn't say that is way he drank. That I am just guessing about.

Thank you for posting the recovery article on Rodney's page on Find-a-Grave; however, the right side is cut off so not all the words are visible. Please, could you email me a complete copy?

Grateful for all you do for Find-a-Grave.

Memorial# 91379641
Thank You for the work that you do.

I was just looking at Find A Grave Memorial# 91379641 for Gordon M. Gunhus. Seems he and I were (are) 4th or 5th cousins. He and I were in-country at the same time.

I am updating the Lien Lineage (97 pages) and the lineage stops at generation 5, occassionally maybe some in generation 6.

Respectfully,
Richard Neely

Itransfered the memoral to you since it is already in thr right Cementary so you just need to fill in the information from your memorial and then delete yours afterwards

Cordie Lamb Schmittou Kindla, your message
Hello, Thank you for your kind message on Cordie's memorial. St. Stanislaus cemetery, Bandera, Texas. She was my father's wife, her son LaVerne, was in the Navy when killed in a helicopter crash.

I have just learned that folks are looking for a photo of LaVern to be included in a big memorial being built for vets in Washington DC. Perhaps you can help, or would lke to know about the memorial.

Please contact me at LSmith050804@aol.com

Best Regards,
