Born in Clay City, Illinois 1929. Married Lida Kathleen Rodgers 1946. We have 2 sons and 2 daughters,
8 grandchildren, 5 ggchildren. Genealogy has been our hobby. We went to various states and looked up present day descendants of our common ancestors. Made a point of visiting our ancestors battlefields on anniversary of battle. The days before internet was more enjoyable, but more difficult and slow. We lived in Chicago area for 35 years and I am a retired heavy construction superintendent and drilled for Calvert Exploration in Illinois, Oklahoma, North Dakota and Michigan. When first married was printer in my father's print shop. We have lived past 11 years in Abilene, Texas. We have now returned to Illinois.
