Bio Photo A Southern Family Tree is not a tree but a beautiful Wisteria Vine with many branches going everywhere and a lost root!

NSDAR 1988 Patriots: Rev. Lewis Cookson Davis, John Anderson, Charles Heard, William Hay, Lt. Willis Pope, Nathaniel Jones,John Stovall, Absalom Davis and Owen Griffin. Only one has a known grave site so the rest do not have memorials on FAG. (Update Nov 2015: found that other members are now making unknown burials of these patriots meeting their genealogy storage goal and not FAG's goal of recording graves sites)

To keep weeds out of the beautiful Find A Grave garden....

First, I don't link to Burial Unknown Site Memorials as BU shouldn't be on FAG according to the guidelines of the website. Do not request relationship edits to a BU as it will be refused. The first criteria for making a memorial on FAG is having the burial site, as this is a grave registration site. When you made a BU, you have a chance of losing the memorial to the member who "Find A Grave" in the cemetery.

Second, I may or may not transfer outside of the guidelines to an established member. It is my choice. Long-time hard working-members, who are busy in surveying cemeteries and taking grave photos impress me more than someone who is collecting others' memorials for their personal goal or waiting for someone to find the burial sites for their numerous memorials made with an "unknown burial site".

Lastly, there are no duplicated memorials on FAG. If I find a duplicated memorial while researching this site, there is 99% chance that it will be deleted or merged eventually.

You may disagree with the guidelines but remember the guy who started Find A Grave wrote them. He is the boss.

Many of the memorials transferred to me were done without my request for them. These memorials have found a home and will be nurtured.

Also, thank you for all the flowers and tokens left on my family's memorial. They are all sincerely appreciated by me and my family.

Remember to check on the Discussion Forums here. They are very newsy, helpful and interesting!

I received your message regarding my Aunt's Memorial. I am aware of all of her names and that she was known more as a Blagg than she was a Lamb and has both names on her Gravemarker.
Thank you for your inquiry. I'm fine where its at.

Joseph B Nachtmann (U.S. Coast Guard)

Were you trying to leave me a message about this page? I am not sure I understand what

I would like photographs of any head stones in the cemetery that are of Eaves. Bartlett Yancey Eaves should be there and his wife. He is an ancestor of my husband. I appreciate those who photograph the cemeteries and head stones, and like giving them credit.

I am new to communicating on this site and not sure about how to go about making contacts. I would be glad to have anyone that has photos to send them, and any info of the Bartlett Yancey Eaves family tree.

Thank you,

Betty Eaves

RE: Thank you!
You're most welcome Linda. I'm not from Sand Springs so I didn't know the circumstances of the family but I found someone who did and it's not due to the lack of funds that Mary Ann Rudy doesn't have a grave marker, so sad :(
