Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello - I got into Genealogy back in 1994 or so, and spent the next 8-9 years researching my family (Mostly in Chesterfield County, Virginia - and its surrounding counties). Have always found 'walking around' in cemeteries peaceful and informative, so I've begun to bring my camera along and add records to Find-A-Grave. Like everyone else, I may very well key in entries wrong from time to time (as in, Trouble reading the marker), so IF you see a mistake - or have more info on the deceased (Like full/missing Maiden Names, bios, etc), please use the "suggest a correction" feature on a memorial if you have additional info or corrections about anyone I have listed (Please Don't Leave Info In The Virtual Flowers).

If you're a close family member & would like one of the memorials I've made transferred to you within the FAG guidelines (with the exception of my family members), please let me know by using the "Suggest A Correction" feature from the memorial. Due to some unusual requests, please let me know your relationship to the person you are requesting a transfer. A Generic "Transfer this Memorial to me" will be not be honored. Also, If you request a transfer, Please Include your Findagrave ID#.

Dr. Edward S. Roane
Thank you for letting me know where Dr. Roane was buried. I have changed his entry to reflect that.

Thank you for updating and linking my aunt to her parents, and doing it so quickly.

RE: Emma E. Lyle Steiger
Thanks for doing the updates so quickly! Yes, Lucy and William S Lyle are also children of James & Margaret Murr Lyle.

Lucy's dob is 11-7-1887, dod is 11/13/1947. She was not married. On her death cert, she is listed as "Miss" Lucy W. Lyle.

No dob was given for Wm. His dod is 5/24/1936. I cannot confirm that M. Grace was William's wife. His death cert indicates that his wife was Maril(?) Baker Lyle but that was in 1936. Since M. Grace died in 1904, Maril may be a second wife. I don't know though.

If it would be easier for me to send edits for the dates, let me know and I will do that.

Also, do you want me to contact the other contributor so she can delete the other memorial? I can explain to her what happened, if you'd like. Just let me know.

Thanks for all you do!

Thank you for adding the biography for Richard Earl Allan. He was my "boss" and best friend for many years. He was a great man who walked among great men. We could use a lot more like him.

Thank you, Ashland Genealogist, for posting the markers for my aunt and uncle Johnson. We always live a thousand miles apart, so only got to know them a little. Happy to see your good work.
