Bio

I have recorded as many burials as I can in the Old Lodi Cemetery near my home. None of the people in this cemetery are related to me, but I feel it's important to record them before they are all eroded beyond recognition, as so many of them already are. Some stones have been replaced over time, and therefore a few people appear to have their names on 2 stones. I have compared my own readings with those in the book, " Tombstone inscriptions from the cemeteries in Medina County, Ohio, 1983." I am finding that my own observations don't always agree with it.

I am now starting a photographic survey of the Friendsville Cemetery in Westfield Twp.

If you are related to anyone in either of these cemeteries, please contact me as I would be very interested to learn about the people who once lived in this area.

If you have any corrections or additions to any of my posts, please contact me.
