Bio and Links
Bio Photo WOW! I've been researching my family roots now for ten years. I became interested when my Auntie passed and I inherited our family photos.
Many of them I had not seen before, but some had names on the back. It was like a puzzle, putting all the pieces together. It became an addiction, fitting one piece at a time. I have scrapbooked all of my heritage photos which really brings these family members to life. Finding documents of marriage, birth, death, wills, newspaper articles and personal tidbits about each person opens another chapter in my history book.

These are my direct lines:

Most of my roots started in Kentucky and moved into Missouri.
Primarily the Missouri Counties of, Clay, Platte, Ray, Boone, Lincoln, Douglas.

Do I have any family out there? Please let me hear from you!!!!

Lee Family
Hi Earleen, and fellow researchers --
This branch is my hardest to research. I am Linda Hudson in Cypress, Texas. My great grandfather was Isaac Abraham Lee 1856-1918. Census records indicate TN, AR, and MO for his places of birth and his Dad. On his death cert -- Dad's name is Jessee Lee(great x2). Oddly, they said Mom was unknown and she lived with Isaac until 1900. Mom was Lucinda?? Don't know what happened to Jessee. Have seen one who died in Civil War or as a result. But, Lucinda remarried before his death, like 6 mos. She was also older than Jessee based on what I know by five years. Isaac also had a sister Frances Leva Lee, 1854-1904. When passing through MO and AR tried hitting some courthouses with no luck. Lucinda Lee married William Cordell in Benton, AR. Only common ground in all backgrounds is TN. Just keep an eye out if you find anything -- thanks.

Ramey / Remy Families
Hello. Saw your comments on the John Ramey post. I had seen your Family Tree while researching Louisa Endicott. She is my husband's great grandmother. Louisa's son, Leo Jasper Remy, had a daughter 8 months after Louisa died and she was named Lulu Jacqueline Remy after her grandmother, Louisa "Lulu". Jacque lived to be 84 years old, passing away in 2008. Our son had an opportunity to go to Salem, Ma., several years ago and I had asked him to look up John Endicott's grave marker. He went to the University in Salem and found the statue of John Endicott and had his picture taken in front of it. I believe John Endicott is his 10th great grandfather. Thanks for posting the info on Louisa's Find A Grave site. Linda Crook

Bessie Remy
My husband is the grandson of Leo Jasper Remy. His sisters were Bessie 1896-1912 and Gertrude Remy Stockbridge 1902-1938. You mentioned you knew their parents. Do you have any info on the Remy family. Seems there is very little info on this family line. Thanks Linda

RE: Henry Lafayette Darling
I know a wee bit. Sarah was raised by her mother's parents, JP and Lucy Darling. My tree in Ancestry is called Wylie Grannis Lane Rogers.

Here is a link to JP Darling, father of Henry.

Hello Cousin! I noticed that you posted that Henry was your great-great grandfather; he was my great-great-grandmother's uncle! I have a photo of him that he gave to her. Her name was Sarah Louisiana Clement, from his sister, Nancy. If my calculations are correct, we are 4th cousins once removed!

Hi I emailed you the other day but you may have not gotten it. You posted some pics of my grandmother's aunt Ethel and some of my grandmother's grandparents on the Adams side... My grandmother's maiden name was Robison and her mother's name was Grace Leah Adams Robison. If you have anymore pics that are relatives we would like copies of them. My grandmother (who will be 87 this year) wants to know more about you. (Why I emailed you instead of doing a public message)

Hi, Don't think I am related, but would like to know more about the Sebree family, specifically, Lester and his mother ALice. In the 1950's they lived in Adair County Missouri, and were neighbors of my grandparents. Lester helped my grandfather with the farming. I was a child but I remember him as a very nice polite shy man. Is this the Lester on Find a Grave that you sponser? If so I would like to know more about that little family. I now live in Arizona , too far to check library records and such. thanks

Dear Earleen,

My name is Valerie. Here is my line: me-Dad-Irene Sutton-John B Sutton-Ann Elizabeth Baker-George Baker1810-Hepzibah Turley-Giles Turley.

You are right about genealogy being like a puzzle and it's so addictive; a good addiction.

Nice to meet you!
