Bio

As you can see by my picture, I was a career Navy man. I enlisted on December 10, 1970 and served sixteen years and obtained the rank of Aviation Ordnance Chief Petty Officer (AOC). I was sworn in as a Chief Warrant Officer Two (CWO2) on March 1, 1986. I was accepted to the Limited Duty Officer (LDO) program and commissioned Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) in 1989. I ultimately achieved the rank of Lieutenant and retired as such on March 1, 1999.
Because of my extended time away from home and country I lost contact, what little there was, with most of my blood relatives I missed my maternal Grandmother's and both of my Step Father's funerals due to deployments. So in that regard, I started genealogy as a hobby. I wanted to get in touch with my "roots".
My paternal surnames are: Williams; Saunders; Armour and Powell.
My maternal surnames are: Killebrew; Simmons; Ely and Creason.
My Wife's Paternal surnames are: Wilks;Dickerson; Kimball; Zin (Zinn).
My Wife's maternal surnames are: Sippel; Massey; Wilsey (Wiltsey);Franklin.
Re-discovering Find A Grave, has helped me to fill in numerous blank spots in by trees. If I have created a memorial of any of your relations, that are not mine also, please let me know and I'll transfer them to you.
