I first discovered this site when I was researching descendants through one of the proven "royalty" lines. I was interested in finding where some of these individuals were buried and was hoping to visit England in the near future. |
My England trip has not panned out yet, but I did discover that I liked this site due to the fact that an individual could be personalized by adding photos, taking pictures of headstones, and adding bios. I felt this somehow draws you in closer to the person. I love the fact that you can leave notes also.
I have told everyone that I know about this site and I and some friends have been doing all we can to document some of our local cemeteries. We have completed our local cemeteries and have expanded into some of our surrounding communities. We have met some very nice people due to this project. We also post all of the local obits to FAG if the obit states which cemetery they are located in.
We also volunteer to put out flags on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. It only takes a few hours, and, let's face it, some of these guys can use the help. They are always so grateful, and the ceremonies are always beautiful.
I would also like to thank the volunteers who take time to take pictures of headstones for me at cemeteries that I will probably never get to see. Recently, I found where one of my fathers relatives was buried, and a volunteer took a picture of the grave. I do appreciate each and every one of you!
I encourage everyone to adopt a cemetery, scour the local papers for obits, and tell all their friends and neighbors about this site. Everyone benefits!

hello from France,
I read your message about P. J. Pulos on this web site. Congratulation.
Are you of the family of this hero?
Have a good day.
Jacky from France.
Thank you so much for putting flags on Barry's grave. He was very patriotic and an officer of the American Legion, where we had our first date. Thank you again,
Sharon (Wallace) Thurgood
I thought I'd be buried next to him, but have decided to go home to Indiana where my parents are buried. Will sure miss the nice people and the great vistas in California City. Barry was killed preparing for an off road baja type race, sort of near Rand Mt. and left there to die.
Ewards AFB gave a great military funeral.

Greetings. I'd like permission to use your photo of Mr. Wilver as part of a memorial that I've put together on my website, www.dainthecbi.com
Mr. Wilver served with the 7th bomb group, as did my grandfather, and I am doing my part to honor those who also served with that group during WWII.
Do you have other info that you can share that pertains to Mr. Wilver's military service?
Hi my name is Evelina Miller and I was wondering if you ever transfer any of your people you manage. Ramon Contreras is a relative of mine that I was looking for and found on this site. I am trying to get his whole family connected and I have his parents and some of his siblings. I just wanted to know because I want it to be easier for other people who are doing genalogy to be albe to connect the dots a lot easier than I have had to so whenever I can I try to get all the family members together so all someone has to do is find one and be able to quickly get other names or dates and information to help in their search. I would appreciate it and if not his parents are Vincente Contreras Find A Grave #111531952, Birth: Mar., 1868, Mexico

|BG||David Carl House|
The mother of David Carl House was Mary Lou Owens. She first married David's father David Porter House (burial place not known) then after he died in 1918 she married Elihu Gabbard. Mary Lou is buried at New Cemetery, Mulberry,Crawford County, Arkansas. I have sent an edit so she can be linked with David Carl House, her son. I am a family member.
Thanks so much.

Diane, I just want to tell you that Alma's birthdate is Aug. 21. The headstone is wrong. Her husband Homer got it mixed up with another relative when he had it made. Alma was my mother'-in-law. Mary Hisaw

Thank you for the obit on Loren. I have added it to his memorial. Sorry for the delay; I was away from home for a few days and without internet access.
