I live in Wisconsin, and I've created memorials for most graves located in Ashland, Bayfield, and Price Counties. (The Price Co. info is courtesy of the Price County Genealogical Society).|
By adding all these memorials, I'm hoping I'll be able to help someone in their research. If you found something I added to Findagrave helpful, needs correction, or if you have a bio or photo to add, please feel free to email me.
If you need help with researching your family history, I might not be of much help, but I can probably point you in the right direction (of who might be of more assistance).
Sometimes it takes me a while to reply to e-mails, because sometimes I check my messages infrequently. But I try to get back to everyone as soon as I'm able.

|Karen Hill||Mystery solved!|
Yes, it was Mads Olson, not Mads Olson Brinceland.
I found the family in the 1940 Census for Pratt, Bayfield, WI: Matt (sic) Olson, b Norway, 62, dairy farmer; wife Martha; son Melvin.

Hi Paukl, thanks for processing all those dit requests of mine.
Mads's grave is next to Martha Olson who is next to a son also named Olson. I am wondering...was Olson Mads's last name and Brinceland is meant to be the place where he came from???? For example, my gravestone would be
What do you think?
|Robert Ewart Butler||Henry Butler - 18722439?|
I am looking for the burial record for Henry Butler, born 22 Dec, 1852 and reportedly died 5 May 1925. I found your record 18722439 for "Butler", with no given name, born 22 Dec 1862 and died 5 May 1925. This burial was the Mount Hope Cemetery in Ashland. It looks like Henry Butler's 2 wives are buried in the same cemetery.
I am wondering if you have any further clues as to the identification of "Butler". Is there a chance that the birth year was off by 10 years in the burial record? Is there a record of which family member signed papers or paid for the grave location, or whatever? I wonder if there is a family plot where several of the Butler's are buried close together?
Any other clues you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Robert Butler, Canada.

|Quintin Poysa||Looking for a grave and cant find it|
Me and my 2 year old son walked around for around 2 hours tonight and we could not find my ancestor John W. Poysa (Memorial# 25120145). I really want to find his grave so I can fix it up. This find a grave website has him listed at the Ashland Mt Hope Cemetery. I would really owe you one if you have any info about its location.
Poysa, Quintin R.
|Looking Glass||Jane Cunning|
Hello Paul. I was wondering I see Jane Cunning as being listed in two different cemeteries in Iron River. You have Jane Cunning in St. Michaels in Iron River Memorial Number 13015427 and Jane Cunning in Iron River Cemetery Memorial number 13220878. These women are one in the same. I have been chasing Jane Cunning for 3 years. I feel confident they are one in the same due to Jane in Iron River Cemetery is the wife of Daniel Cunning and Jane in St. Michaels is the mom of Jennie Fitzpatrick and all three are family, although Daniel is the step-father to Jennie. They are all from Alpena Michigan. I live in Michigan as well. We are actually trying to track Jane Cunnings dad and Jane is the child that is probably going to get me the closest to finding her dad, so I have to get it accurate. I'm hoping to gether death certificate from Bayfield and hoping it list her parents. Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

Thanks so much for "fixing up" Rollin's memorial. A few of us Find A Gravers have been trying to reunite a Vermont family which, once they left Wisconsin, spread out all across the land. Your assistance has brought us one step closer to getting the job done.

Hi, Paul! Was wondering if I could get management transferred for these two? They're my great grandparents, through their daughter Frances.
Thanks so much!
