I live in Wisconsin, and I've created memorials for most graves located in Ashland, Bayfield, and Price Counties. (The Price Co. info is courtesy of the Price County Genealogical Society).
By adding all these memorials, I'm hoping I'll be able to help someone in their research. If you found something I added to Findagrave helpful, needs correction, or if you have a bio or photo to add, please feel free to email me.
If you need help with researching your family history, I might not be of much help, but I can probably point you in the right direction (of who might be of more assistance).
Sometimes it takes me a while to reply to e-mails, because sometimes I check my messages infrequently. But I try to get back to everyone as soon as I'm able.
Re: Lucinda Allen Headstone Hello Paul.... Thank you very much for the grave-marker photo of Lucinda Allen's headstone. It is an unusual shaped one. Records show she was married for a short time to my great uncle David MacDonald. She was 25 years older than he and we know little of her. Really appreciate the photo as we try to gather information. --Harry
Civil War Veteran Paul, I just noticed that you have a Civil War veterans virtual cemetery. I discovered a Civil War veteran in Cable: Jas. M. Nichols. You can check the memorial I created for him and also the memorial for his wife.
Girard Cemetery Markers - Ashland thank you very much Paul for going out of your way to photograph the Girard cemetery markers at Saint Agnes Cemetery in Ashland. Nice addition to my wife's family tree. Much appreciate your help. - 2ulips
Greenwood Cemetery in Cable Hi Paul, you are aware of my taking pix in this cemetery. I am letting you know that there are about 61 memorials left to photograph. My guess is that there may be ten memorials that are not deceased. So this leaves about 50. I still have the bottom half of the right side to do. It is not an easy cemetery, and many of the stones are practically impossible to read or are under too much shade.
So my guess is that there may be 15 or so that have yet to be photographed. The rest are either not marked or not deceased or already done. I am hoping to complete the job no later than this week or next before it gets too warm, and the bugs start feasting on me. One tick did feast on me three summers ago, putting me in the Hayward hospital for three days. So I am leery...
