Bio Photo Losing a child is the most unbearable pain there is. It is one of the most lost and empty feelings a person could ever feel. I miss and love my youngest son, Mark Allen Israels, II so much.

THE RECORDING OF A CEMETERY
BY THELMA GREENE REAGAN

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

The Final Gift

Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor scatter my ashes to the sea
Remember now those years gone by
When loving gifts I gave to thee
Remember now the happy times
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see
A single lasting proof that says
I loved....and you loved me

Ruth Losee
My mistake. She was buried there but the information you have on Ruth is wrong.

Ruth was born on 07 Oct 1911 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to George B. Losee and Frauline Almira Peeples. She died at St. Mary's Hospital at age 5 in Reno, NV.

Thank you.

You information is on the wrong person for Ruth Losee. In addition, she wasn't buried there in Arizona.

Could you please transfer my grandmother to me?
I didn't realize that was her and made a new one for my great-great-great grandma (born in Sweden, passed away here in NV). So I need to delete mine and add the information and photo to the headstone you found. Thank you!

The one I messed up and made (and need to delete):

My Grandfather
Thank you so much for putting this together for my grandfather. I never got to meet him and have never even seen his grave until now. It brought me to tears to be able to finally see this. I appreciate all you do!

Ruth Norrid transfer, thank you
Hi,

Thank you for creating my great aunt's memorial. She was an amazing woman in a million ways. Thank you for transferring management to me.

I also wanted to let you know that I'm a mom too and have a son. I have you and your family in my prayers every day now. We almost lost our son a few years ago and it was that was so hard so I wanted to acknowledge your loss and bravery.

I wanted to visit his memorial but don't know how to. But you can send me an email or if that's too personal no worries.

You have love and care coming your way every day.

Jen

find a grave
I noticed the good condition of many of the fallen markers in the Gold Hill cemetery. Would you perhaps know someone who could copy the inscriptions on them before they are lost. The inscriptions are sometimes so telling about what kind of a person was lost. I found one tomb of two little girls. The inscriptions said: Two little feet trod the streets of gold; two little hands the angels hold; two little lips sing the new found song; a new little angel in the angels throng. Her sister's said: God knows best whom to take, whom to leave below. Blest be the name of our God we say. Blest when he gives, Blest when he takes away. I wonder what the inscriptions of the miner's markers say. It should be recorded too. Nancy
