Bio Photo Words from Helen Keller "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

The Final Gift

Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor scatter my ashes to the sea
Remember now those years gone by
When loving gifts I gave to thee
Remember now the happy times
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see
A single lasting proof that says
I loved....and you loved me

Mary Ambrose grave site at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Reno NV
Hi Mark's mom. I just visited my great grand-aunt Mary Ambrose grave site (among other family members) at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Reno NV and found no headstone for her. I am curious how you found her and listed her on "Find a Grave" (thank you for that by the way) or if there is any relationship between her and you.

Thanks Carl

Marion Emmit Coyle

I am so confused. You had listed the Coyle's back in 2066 as being in the Caliente City Cemetery. As of today I am finding them listed in the IOOF? cemetery. I was adding my mom's 1st cousin to findagrave as he just passed away and I've come across double memorials of the family. They were posted in 2014. Is the two cemeteries the same or different?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi Mark's Mom
Hello, my name is Rebeca Bowe and I'm working on my geneology. I was wondering if your mother's name is just Helen or if it's Mary Helen? I think she might be my great grandma's sister. Her name is Jean Nelson. I'm not sure if I'm on the right track or not, but the LDS geneology site lists a Mary Helen Nelson in our family who was married to George Philip Ahern but there aren't any children listed. In the hint section it led me to find a grave to this listing. Anyway, I'm sorry to bother you but any info you could give me would be awesome! I am so sorry to hear you lost a son, I lost mine too (as a baby) so my heart goes out to you. Thanks for your time :) My email is

I just wanted to thank you for dealing with all the edits I've been sending you in the past few weeks. And to warn you that I'll likely be sending you some more. I'm just trying to get as much information out there as possible.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

Louis E. Kernek
Hi I see you have a photo of Louis E Kernek's grave in Reno, NV #20646186. You said he was your great grandfather's brother. He is also my great grandfather, Julius Kernek's brother. Just wondered how we are connected. I know they had a lot of brothers and sisters. Thank you for posting his gravesite.

Hi. As mentioned in my profile, I'm very uncomfortable with posting published obits, so I've transferred management of these two memorials to you so that you can add them if you wish. Thanks. ~ Janet Ward
