Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started researching my husband's family several years ago when we "inherited" all the photos, newspaper clippings, wedding invitations, etc. that his grandmother had kept. I didn't want to throw it all out because it was a lifetime of memories and keepsakes so I began to organize it on a genealogy database. Then I was "hooked"!

I accidently stumbled onto my cousin's posting on a message board while I was searching for information on MY family and this thing just took on a life of it's own.

I volunteered to take photos for Find-a-Grave after I requested and received some for my postings. It was so exciting to see the stones that I thought it would be nice to reciprocate. I also think I have a "sixth sense" or the deceased just "call to me" because since I started taking photos, I've been to cemeteries that I've never been to and I just seem to be able to walk right up to the grave! I've done it almost every time!

If I have posted something incorrectly or if I have posted something you feel is inappropriate, please email me or leave a message and I will correct it.

I am not related to any of the postings for Mifflin County, PA so I will gladly transfer memorials to a family member, no matter how distant. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB AT THE MEMORIAL TO MAKE THE TRANSFER REQUEST. It's much easier that way and all the necessary information is there.

Any photos I post here are free to be used by anyone. If you do not want me to use your photos, please do not claim my requests.

when I get to this site from Ancestry.com there is a line that says HAS BIO with a "Y" filled in. I am asuming that means that somewhere there is a biography. Is that so and do you have any idea where that may be? She is my 2nd great grandmother and I am stymied with that side of my family. I am looking for John and Matildas parents to be exact.
Thanks, Carla

I looked one other day but the rain beat me. Sorry it's not any better but it's over 1 hour away & I likely won't be back til next year. If you would like a better one, do another request & I promise to get it then.

RE: Leah Altman
I have talked to others who are firm and that cemetery A is where they are buried. And yes that was the name of the cemetery long ago. But now if someone was to look for a person they would be searching across the street from where the person is. What I want to do in the spring summer is walk St John's and do a grid map. I will then post to the info and a picture of the church in the background. I had one guy complain that I was wrong so I took step by step pictures that showed him that the tombstone was 20 ft from the church parking lot. He still did not move his memorial. there is a zion harrold across the street from St. John.

If they are combined how would the people know where to look if visiting. If I could get GPS that would help

bye
