I'm a native of Central Wisconsin (Marshfield) now living in North Mankato, MN. Initially I began using Find-A-Grave to document my own family. The process was so fascinating and fun that I continued documenting families of friends, acquaintances and even complete strangers. For the most part I just "flesh out" existing memorials with information from family histories, obits, newspaper articles, census data, etc. The Find-A-Grave volunteers who trudge through cemeteries and create memorials do the real work. They allow me to sit with my laptop and work on mysteries.
