Bio and Links
Bio Photo I Have been researching Family lines for over 35 years.
this is NOT a Genealogy Research project this is about the Cemeteries!!!
while I like to get more info and do link ups and maybe a SHORT BIO page on the Person that lists an Obit and maybe little more, It is UNNECESSARY to put clips from census and other large documents and 'family histories' into the Bio. this really is NOT the place for your Genealogy Family Research to be STORED.(that is what the GENEALOGY WEB SITES ARE FOR! NOT HERE!!) PLEASE USE ANCESTRY OR FAMILY TREES for your data.. this is where the obits and short histories and locations of burial sites should be done.. family links are NICE and helpful to the genealogist... but I have found that they are NOT always right! having the obit to prove helps... (I myself have had supposed family members give me DIFFERENT links for the parents of one memorial.)
[FAG: "the goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have MEANINGFUL, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."]

Regarding Transfers: PLEASE READ FINDAGRAVE's TRANSFER REQUIREMENTS before requesting a transfer.
IF YOU ARE DIRECTLY RELATED (read FAG DEFINITION! does NOT mean Every cousin, Aunt or Uncle! or DISTANT family member!) to someone that I have entered and wish to request a transfer to you.. please USE THE EDIT tab on the memorial to make request. PLEASE!~ USE THE EDIT FEATURE TO REQUEST EACH ONE ~
PLEASE!~ USE THE EDIT TAB FEATURE TO REQUEST changes ~ I do not respond to "notes" left on this page for requests NOR do I respond to direct emails.

Regarding Duplicates: It is not my intention to create a duplicate on purpose. If you come across a duplicate I have made, please use the EDIT tab and let me know. I'll be happy to look into removing it. Please don't create a duplicate of my memorials; I would rather you ask for edits. Duplicates are the ones with the LATER date or number. do not post flowers to declare duplicates

Regarding Messages on a specific memorial: Please contact me USING THE EDIT feature in the memorial. I don't respond to "private" messages.

{I reserve the RIGHT to delete ANY comment left on this page at ANY TIME!}

{it has come to my attention EFULMER is STEALING Other peoples hard work.. BEFORE FAG was owned by Ancestry, if the name was on a tombstone it was Allowed to be put in even if the death date was MISSING..and not LIMITED by the rules that exist now. (they now call these Pre-need..)
EFULMER is STEALING Entries that MAY HAVE BEEN entered pre-need at the time BUT STILL BY THE RULES.. he has FAG authorities Merge his memorial with the previous peoples work thus transferring to HIM.. because he made one AFTER their death.. Claims "illegal pre-need clause" he refuses to edit the existing memorial. he just created a new one. it's NOT FAIR to those who WORKED HARD to make the memorials in the first place!!! he has retaliated against me for my complaints he recently delested a memorial to STRIP it of all info and created a new one.. FAG is NOT being FAIR!!! they are not checking the requests and in this case the person is using a Loophole in the rules to delete other peoples memorials for his own. I was there FIRST and still Within rules on the memorial in the first place!!! but he manage to get it removed without my knowledge.. (links show page was "merged" and take me to his.)}
{after due consideration and attempts to reason with him. I have decided to let KARMA get him, it surely will as he is rotten spirited to the core.. so if he wants to continue to unfairly steal my memorials so be it.. you'll loose in the end}

James Austin Williams ## 32954238
Carol--Fyi, just got this from the secretary at Pioneer Baptist Church regrading James Austin Williams:

Thanks for getting the edits taken care of and getting things straightened out - James Austin Williams d. 1947 was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church. I met his son shortly after I started working there and occasionally have contact with his granddaughter. His son is buried at another local church and the granddaughter has sold her other plots in the cemetery and moved out of town. Don't know and haven't been able to get much on his family.

RE: Anna M Rollins Williams
Hey--I'm a distant cousin. Check this out:

Anna May WILLIAMS (1926 - 2005) is my 3rd cousin!

I am a daughter of David Harvie ROLLINS Sr,
who was: son of Henry Clay ROLLINS II (1897-1988),
son of Reuben ROLLINS Sr (1859-1933),
son of Henry ROLLINS (1810-1890),
And this Henry ROLLINS (1810-1890) was also the
father of: William "Thomas" ROLLINS (1849-1891),
the father of Maggie Blanche ROLLINS (1871-1935),
the mother of Herman Gibson WILLIAMS (1904-1982),
the father of Anna May "Annie" WILLIAMS!!

Kinda confusing, but fun!
Cheers, Bobbi

Thank for correcting her parents' links. Who is James Williams anyway?

Wondering if you have proof of Susan's name - I am always looking to gain info and would like to correct any errors I may have in my own research. My information is that her name was Susan Louisiana Buckner, never heard of the Ana Gillian part. Is it in a family bible or on the marriage certificate? Do you think Louisiana was just a nickname?

Thanks for any info you may have. I am descended from the Buckner line. She was the sister of my GG Grandfather, her father Meredith is as far back as I've been able to prove.

RE: Gilmore, Toler, Poole Connections
Reuben Anderson Gilmore, Sr. and Sarah Jane Toler were my 2x great grandparents. I'd love to see how our lines connect.

Hi Carol,

I have just started researching my dad's side of the family. I appreciate all the work you have done with the memorials. It really helps me to connect parts of the family I knew nothing about.

Christopher, again
I have requested a photo of the gravestone. Unfortunately, I have requested about a hundred photos for this cemetery. Although I made this page from an obit found in a microfilmed newspaper at the Kansas State Historical Society, the cemetery is about three hours from my house, so taking a photo is not an option at this time. I live SW of Topeka, Kansas, in Shawnee County. One of my father's lines settled in Crawford County, where the Cherokee cemetery is. I read the Cherokee paper looking for details about our relatives. If you see Spencer, Sprague, Grubbs, Montee, Basore, (and many others!) they are related to me. Probably others, too, that I just haven't connected yet.

You left me a message about the above name, wanting to know what is on the tombstone. What is the name of the cemetery he is buried in? Or, what is the Find A Grave number? I will be glad to share whatever I can find.

Family Trees
I totally agree with you about people using this site for storing their family tree information. I have had people to sign up for this site and immediately ask for transfers. They aren't contributing anything themselves. Another thing that bothers me is death certificates showing up on memorials.
