Bio

I enjoy history and genealogy, so cruising cemeteries is always interesting and informative. If you have additions or corrections to any of my entries, please feel free to email me.

Researching surnames: Pruitt (Indiana/Illinois/Missouri/Colorado), Winans, Martin (Pennsylvania/Kansas), Curl (ENGLAND/ Virginia/Ohio/Colorado), Phillis (Pennsylvania/Ohio/Kansas), Ratzlaff (PRUSSIA/Kansas/California), Van Zant or Van Zandt (SWITZERLAND/Pennsylvania/Missouri/Kansas) and Wilson(Ohio/Kansas). Trying to establish my relation to President Woodrow Wilson. His grandfather was a newspaper publisher in Steubenville, OH in the early 1800s. My great grandmother's maiden name was Wilson and she was born in Steubenville, OH. My grandfather bore a striking resemblance to President Wilson.

I am a photo volunteer in Maryland, northern Virginia and DC. You may use my photos in any non-commercial manner (genealogy, reference, research, etc.). Always a pleasure to meet fellow researchers along the way. Happy trails to all of you!
