I mainly do research on cemeteries in PA...Have completed all of Dauphin Co.& Perry Co. Presently working on Cumberland, Lebanon and Lancaster Counties. I have photos of all the cemeteries I have visited along with GPS readings on each. If I can be of any help to anyone please e-mail me
Augustus Louis Roumfort (#140250095) I'm uncertain if you can answer this question, but would you happen to know if this person is buried at Harrisburg Cemetery? He was mayor of Harrisburg from 1863 to 1866, and died there in 1878.
Shoop's Cemetery Karl, Thank you for all your entries on Findagrave. I have a question regarding Shoop's Cemetery in Harrisburg, Pa. You wrote that the original cemetery was raised and put into a single mass grave, which I assume from the photo of the memorial marker was in 1958. I have relatives buried there in the 1920 and 1930's. So are you saying that everyone buried before 1958 is in that mass grave? I find a gravestone photo for my family members on Findagrave, so were the existing stones moved also? Where and how are those stones placed now? The specific people I am inquiring about are James M and Mary E Black. Just trying to understand exactly what happened to them and their stone. Thanks!!! Carol Riedel Norman
RE: Anna Mary D'Amico Serluco Thank you for the wonderful photo! I don't know how I could have forgotten Michael Serluco. You are correct, they were husband and wife. May I please have his photo as well?
completed photo request Thanks for completing my photo request for Sr. M. Annette Wilson. I know you had some extra searching to do, and I'm sorry I didn't see your email until today. I appreciate your extra effort! Thank you!
Edit Basehore Feyerabend Karl, I'm not sure I thanked you enough for the photo you supplied for Edith Basehore Feyerabend (my great aunt). I've been able to connect together well the disparate parts of the Basehore family -- more to come. -- John Q.
