Family history has been my passion all of my life. With my 1st notes being from 4th grade (oh so many decades ago)

Most of my research was done when one had to travel to local archives, when photos had to be taken somewhere to be copied, when info was stored in binders and files not on a computer and recorded in a computer program. All this was at a cost for gas, motels, meals and photo copies.

I am willing to help anyone researching my family names .. I DO expect that the info I share will not be copied and pasted to any website.

I DO expect that you will use each bit of info as a guideline and will either prove or disprove that information.

I DO expect that you will not post any photos I share with you to any website and I DO expect that you WILL NOT steal my photos from my Find A Grave memorials and post them elsewhere.

I DO expect that anything I have posted online will be checked and corrected as there are errors in my early research that are being copied and repeated over and over because people are to lazy to double check what they find. I would correct these errors if possible but I can not remember logins.

I research the families of:

1. Humphrey Littlejohns and Harriett Metherell who left Devon England for Ontario, Canada and later to North Dakota.

2. Archibald and Margaret McCurdy who left County Antrim Ireland for Ontario, Canada

3. John Lawrence and Margaret Hume who homesteaded in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Canada.

4. Lorenze and Anna Peters who left Germany for South Dakota and ended up in Saskatchewan, Canada

5. Eli Budd and Jane Smart who lived in Ontario Canada

I have started reentering my family info from scratch and am looking for living cousins whom I have never met.

In my time online since 1997 I have owned and operated 2 worldwide genealogy websites. JustGen which was revamped and became Looking4Kin. Oh how I miss the site and the chatroom.
