Keeping the memories of loved ones alive is very important to me. If you have time, please leave flowers for my father, Thomas Chrane; my grandfather, James Homer Purcell; my cousin, Scotty Purcell; and my father-in-law, George Michael, Jr. |
Email me if you have any corrections. Or if you would like for me to transfer ownership to you of a memorial I have created for your loved one. I will also remove names of those wishing not to have their family members listed on this site.
I live in Brown County, Texas with my husband and three boys. I have lived in Brown County all of my life and some of my ancestors were among the first settlers of this area. I work as a special education aide, but preserving history is my true passion.

Hi, I was wondering if you could possibly take a darker picture of Margaret's headstone. It is too bright to read. I believe she is my maternal great great grandmother. I have no information on her. I noticed there was a white rose by the headstone. I wonder if I could find out who left it. Probably a relative I would love to get in touch with to find out more about her. I'm asking a lot I know. Thank you so very very much!

Brenda, my G Great Grandmother is Georgia Ann Lovell Matthews Daughter of George W Lovell and Sarah Jane Williams Lovell. Georgia Ann married Asa Samuel Matthews. Their Daughter Susan Jane Matthews who Married Robert Lee Van Huss are my Great Grandparents. You are the first person who I have found who may be able to verify and clear up the relationship between George Washington Lovell and David Frank Lovell. My primary question is to find out what documentation or either by information handed down through your family line to verify the Brothers (George and David Lovell) relationship. I am a very active user on findagrave primarily for my relatives history and as well have my tree on Ancestry.com. I am always looking for long lost relatives even when they are distant cousins. There is nothing like finding family members to share our heritage with each other. I hope to hear from you and would like to talk sometime about our Lovell family line. Best Regards, Lester Van Huss #47859148

Brenda, I would like to thank you for the work you have done. I noticed your name on several of my relatives buried at Rocky Creek. I lived in Brownwood from the age of 3 till my mother passed away in 1968. My family also goes back aways in Brown County.
Once again, thank you.

By any chance are you the one who originally posted

Brenda, thank you so very much for your generous transfer of Vera. I'm working already on her memorial and all my Sullivans. Your work is so valuable and will help so very many families. Also, you do it in a good spirit, for the right reasons and willingly transfer to family. What a blessing! Kindest Regards, Nancy
