I was born in Nowata, Oklahoma, but have lived in Louisburg, Kansas, since 1979. After thirty-six years of teaching, I decided to retire. I have always had an interest in hearing the stories about past generations. I believe it is vitally important to preserve the memory of our loves ones that have passed away. If we, the older generation, do not pass this information on, the history of our families will be lost forever to our children and grandchildren. With this in mind, I am trying to gather all the information that I can about my family and the family of my husband. Thank goodness, we have so many people willing to share information, pictures, and keep this website going.
