I am a member of "Spirits Alive", a non-profit dedicated to the preservation and restoration of Eastern Cemetery on Congress Street in Portland, Maine.

We are all volunteers who have had varying degrees of training to clean and repair gravestones. Some of the stones I will list from Eastern Cemetery were found broken and Spirits Alive has put them back together A couple stones had been lost for many years and we've found, dug up, cleaned and reset them.
